The Leftist Tactic of Infiltration and Agitation Exposed (updated)

Enjoy your Alinsky Rules for Radicals 101

This provides a rare insight into the mindset of the Left and their 'aim justifies the means' mentality. Unfair, unethical? The idea doesn't even enter the minds. The terminally self-righteous have no morality to speak of.

Update

Pajamas Media: "Who’s Behind the ‘Crash the Tea Party’ Website?", by Bob Owens

(...) Out of momentum, out of sorts, and out of ideas, progressives were left with one alternative: framing tea party activists as a group of unpalatable racists and bigots that any reasonable person would shy away from.
Such is the mission of www.crashtheteaparty.org, a newly incorporated website seemingly dedicated to widespread and organized fraud to discredit the tea party movement (...) Meet Jason Levin: he digs Olbermann, ObamaCare, and 9/11 truther websites. Oddly enough, he really, really doesn't like the idea of tea parties. (...) As you may suspect, crashtheteaparty.org was not created by a Republican or an independent, but instead by someone with a red-tinted sickle to grind. (...) >>>

US Radio "Mille Collines"

Conservatives and Republicans made the best of it, and refered to it by its funny name coined by Charles Krauthammer: BDS, or Bush Derangement Syndrome.

It wasn't the only form of political madness around, not by a long chalk. But it mostly amounted to variations on a single theme.

Analysis after analysis and diagnosis after diagnosis tried to make sense of the phenomenon, which with hindsight, was nothing more than ordinary 'community organizing', or the art of agitation, provocation, intimidation and subversion.

Yes, it could be diagnosed as projection and cognitive dissonance, but only on the part of the hapless followers. The campaign against Conservative talk radio hosts is a clear example of that.

But the instigators themselves are led by cold, political calculation. David Horowitz has recently put up a series of posts on the Alinsky strategy (links assembled in "The Postmodern War on Reality").

It should never have been tolerated. Enduring it, condoning it, is in fact trivializing it. Satire and ridicule can be deadly as political tools, but it takes quite a dramatic craftsman to apply it in the precise dosis and in effective proportions.

Some forms of demagogy have such serious consequences that there's only one way to deal with them: to call them by their proper names and expose them to the best disinfectant available: sunlight. That should have been done with the senseless, irresponsible ratcheting up of hatred that was poured out over the world and the two Bush administrations.

It was the American equivalent of Rwandan RTV "Libre des Milles Collines". RTLM completed its dirty work in one single year's time, whereas BDS lasted a full eight years (and counting). Will it remain without consequence, ya think?

Hatred is a terrible thing. If it is within the bounds of reason and is the result of something done to you, the best way to deal with it is to pray hard for the strength to forgive. Hatred and the wish for vengence have a nasty habit of turning against you.

If it is the result of a purposely irrational campaign of agitation - a simplified version of a Sorelian myth - it must be exposed for what it is to render it harmless. As it was, BDS induced hatred nestled in the hearts and souls of millions of people where it festers to this very day.

As Glenn Beck points out in the following footage, tolerating the ratcheting up of hatred has been doing the fight on the terms of the radical demagogues. Please help save civilization (really) and take time out for an hour or so, to sit down at ease and watch ...

... Glenn Beck explaining it, and laying out a plan how to fight it (link to entire Friday episode) - Hat Tip: Patriots Network - (N.B. All five Glenn Beck Specials live now... They will stay on the site until after the 9/12 March. The site will be down sometime this weekend. My hosting service is moving us to a different server.)

Let me explain again how the pomo agitation works. In large part it consists of their particular approach to linguistics, and how they apply it in order to make you comply with their ideology (yes, they're little pocket Hitlers).

For indepth understanding study this file on "Pomo Lingo" (note: it was originally titled "Neo Communism and Cultural Marxism" and is dated 27th December 2007 - well before Obama and his team of radicals ever came on the scene - this has been in the works for a very long time - you can watch the prehistory of political correctness here on a PJTV video).

Pomo name calling is all about intimidation - in fact there's nothing to be afraid of since it is precisely that ... tossing labels around. As Glenn said: "sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me". Read in "The O Team: Babies With Razors" how come there's literally no concept behind the hot air and empty rhetoric.

The Shadow Party, the Color of Change and The New Republic

The coup on the free world playing out in the US, is coming straight out of the Saul Alinsky playbook.

The Organizer-in-Chief knows well how to implement that sort of thing.

Get this:

Should anyone like to know how we got here and what ideology underlies the entire coup, here's some additional information.

- A still ongoing series of posts written by David Horowitz, brought together on a file called "Horowitz on Alinsky: the Postmodern War on Reality"

- Indepth research into how the Democratic Party was taken over by the totalitarian, Postmodern Leftists - Logistics Monster: "Obama's American Socialism: Decades in the Making"

Don't miss David Horowitz' in "Obama’s Communist Advisor and His Billion-Dollar Army":
I’m in NY where I’ll be headed to the Fox studios in a few hours to tape the “Glenn Beck Show.” The segment I’m doing will be aired Thursday as part of a week-long series called “The New Republic,” which is Glenn’s look at the radical agendas of the Obama Administration. Last night, with Pat Caddell as his guest, Glenn made the connection between the trillion-dollar deficits Obama is deliberately running up and the Cloward-Piven strategy devised by two Columbia radicals to bankrupt the welfare system in New York in order to create a crisis that would generate radical change.

Although the show failed to mention it, this was a strategy first identified in a book I wrote a couple of years ago with Richard Poe called The Shadow Party. That book described the coalition of Communist and anarchist radicals, Democratic Party honchos, and multi-billionaires that the malevolent George Soros put together before the 2004 presidential campaign. The Shadow Party is now the party in power and running the show. (...) read it all >>>
There's more on Van Jones in the dossier on Obama's Radical Connections in the segment "Red, green and the Color of Change". Jones is a self-described Communist, now the 'czar' for “Green Jobs”. He's also a Jeremiah Wright radical, dedicated to “organizing a revolutionary movement.” That's Jones' real job, "(...) to build the mass power base of what [Alinsky] calls the army.” (Rules for Radicals, p. 113)".

More segments of the Glenn Beck series "The New Republic" on the YouTube Channel.

Ready for another shocker? Guess who co-wrote the Stimulus Bill? The Chairman of the Apollo Alliance ... Jeff Jones, a founder member of the Weather Underground (for crying out loud).

I think we've only began to scratch the surface!

Update:

Yep, the builders are in ... a thorough national deconstruction effort is underway, and that includes 9/11 (and apparently 'history' as well) ... condolences everyone ... (now what?)

Politics=War in Action

"Democracy in Action" is how the Left typify it!

When the politics=war crowd gets into Government they could silence the opposition, either by morally condemning them on trumped up charges as we have seen played out over the last few days (see "From Political Correctness to One Party Rule"), or -

they could unleash one of their political action attack dogs, as is the case today:

Move On: "Not One"

"Not a single Republican voted for President Obama's economic recovery plan in the House. If that happens in the Senate, Obama's plan won't pass. We've got a new TV ad to win over swing-vote Republican senators. Can you chip in?"

Why not ask George SoroS for a hand-out? Or is this supposed to pass for 'grassroots in action'? Swarming, nudging ... where the Left has a presence some form of coercion is usually not very far of.

Stimulus - recovery plan? The video has the gall to call for supporting "the Obama recovery plan for 3 million jobs, not the failed policies of the past ..." yada yada yada - ~~~~~~~ (these represent sound-waves, the definition of postmodern 'communications').

No, let's recover as slow as possible and credit the politicians by revamping the failed policies of the far, far past! [sarc off]

Only in countries without private ownership (i.e. in totalitarian states) can the Government 'create' jobs, rather like Corporal Hitler's and the Communists' hundred percent employment rate! (In the 1934 National Socialist economy of Germany 52,000 men were required to work on civil engineering projects alone, while some 100,000 were employed in supplying their building material.)

In liberal democracies it's a demonstrable fallacy that is re-enacted every time some Government has wrecked the economy by 'regulating' it. In this particular case banks were compelled by law to peddle subprime mortgages.

The Keynesian game is a parlor trick played by politicians on the people they claim to represent! The truth is, there is nothing the state can do to counter the fix except letting the market's self-regulating mechanism do its job; and the more they interfere with that process, the longer recovery takes.

But admitting that would prove that capitalism isn't the villain of the piece, but the hero. And it would unmask the Leftist game for what it is: a war on reality! So Keynesianism allows them to shine, a show-case for the policies that saved the country - despite, rather than because of it.

Back to party politics, the other war. The loyal opposition has finally decided a counter-offensive is in order. Conservatives are slowly catching on to the Left's Alinsky tactics.

Although full comprehension of the Postmodern anti rulebook is hard to accomplish, simply because it is so antithetical to anything we know, the TCOT Action Projects' "Launch Operation MOVE OVER MoveON.org" makes an excellent start.

Beginning Monday we will call 5 Rep Senators targeted by MoveOn.org and confirm their opposition to the Pork Laden Spoils Spending Bill

We will also call a few wavering Democrats

We encourage American freemarket supporters to sign up with TCOT Action Projects, RootsHQ and DontGo. These grassroots projects aim at remedying some of the hiatus Conservatism had in IT based activism. They make a flying start with countering the worst end-justifies-the-means assaults by the statists.

We'd like to call on Europeans to sign up with "Roots! We the Peoples of Europe", either on Facebook or on Ning. Roots! are planning to develop similar action programs to claim back Europe from the Hegelian statists for its peoples, as it should have been!

Update:

Just released film material by Free Wagon Films shows that the much admired "New Deal" FDR Administration was over its eye-balls infiltrated by communist subvertors, which may be the reason President Obama is (subconsciously) attracted to its policies. The series "The Subversion Factor" deals with the entire range of moles throughout the last century. Part 2 explains the matter in general, while part 3 specifically deals with the FDR years.

From Political Correctness to One Party Rule (Updated)

President Obama is in full "render-critique-beyond-the-pale" mode to mute the opposition. In the footage below we see Sean Hannity discussing it with Ann Coulter.

It's actually far more sinister than we usually give it credit for. This is, because to date political correctness has been put to use on woolly issues on the periphery of rough-and-tumble politics. It has been an irritant - a bad one at times - but that was it!

An insistent opponent would still be able to get the word out and hope to break through the callous layers of moral indignation. This however is getting increasingly difficult! Here we have a live opportunity to watch the process in action. The development from P.C. seedling, to full blown poison-acorn goes somewhat as follows.

The operator registers in public the presence of the opposition and displays surprise at its intensity, even if it's entirely justified and certainly mild in comparison with the rage-rage-rage histrionics Conservatives had to endure over long eight Bu$Hitler years. It would read like "Wow, we have an opponent and he's saying tough stuff about us".

This caricature is taken progressively to extremes. The next development stage goes from "petty grievances" to memes of " intolerable", "repugnant", and "it's no longer acceptable that we would have to endure such slanderous insult, followed by a word of caution on the dangers of dissent in times of crises! See this footage - an interview of MSNBC's Norah O'Donnell with Congressman Mike Pence for a great example of moral outrage over legitimate opposition (on the 4:35 mark).

This caveat by that time has generated enough indignation in the loyal media and the liberal grassroots for the opposition to have become reprehensible thugs in the consciousness of the tactically innocent: et voila, political correctness is born!

Of course we can always take this one step further by declaring the opposition morally as well as legally out of the order by adopting Orwellian Fairness Doctrine, or finding loopholes in existing legislation. By now we have well reached seedling level of one-party dictatorship.

During the Presidential campaign we've listed a few pretty corrosive examples, reason for the creation of a new collection point on Articles, entitled for good reason "Ruled by the Mob".

Take this outstanding example from "We Are All Plumbers Now": This is perhaps the most ominous aspect yet of both the radicalized Democratic Party in general, and the Obama campaign in particular: they appear to be after ways how the law can the used to criminalize opponents. Uncle Joe would be proud!

Point in case is a
local Democratic chairman reacting to Philip Berg's valid lawsuit for Barack Obama to present evidence of natural born citizenship. In this footage we can literally see him looking for ways to delegitimise Berg's efforts: either he's on a personal vendetta, or he must be trespassing on somebody's privacy rights (...)

These latter stages of the disease are simply too awful to contemplate just yet. For now enjoy Hannity and Coulter:

Update:

The politics=war analogy of the Presidential campaign is effortlessly promulgated into the Obama Administrative era. Some Conservatives actually fall for centrist talk and labels. They need to get this: to postmodernists like Obama words are meaningless! That's no exaggeration or a figure of speech: in postmodern philosophy words are mere soundwaves. Everything is rhetoric and calculated for secundary effect ...

WND: "Alinskyite Obama hopes to hush Rush", by David Limbaugh

(...) In his eight full years as the recipient of endless vile and often-delusional slander, President George W. Bush rarely grumbled, much less counterattacked his tormentors. Yet before he completed his first week in office, President Barack Obama – a dedicated disciple of Saul Alinsky, who is to left-wing radicalism and social agitation what Karl Marx is to communism – declared war on Rush Limbaugh.

This was a calculated move by a man who professes to be open to all ideas but apparently brooks no dissent. He not only does not tolerate dissent well but also really doesn't even like to be questioned, as we saw during the campaign, when he accused the normally fawning press of grilling him for merely asking a follow-up question. We caught another glimpse of this last week, when he showed irritation at the White House press corps for daring to ask him a policy question after he had decreed that the sole purpose of his visit was to press the flesh. The New Playbook: Rules for the Right

The post "Three things the Obamedia will do to depress Republican turnout and help Obama" addressed to Republicans, which is up on PUMA blog Hillbuzz, makes one thing stand out as mole on a lily white bosom: that Republicans are playing by a very antiquated rule book.

Here's a News Flash for the defenders of civilized society: there's a war on, y'know!

Here's the thing in military terms. The rules of engagement are dictated by pragmatism: whatever is expedient to the cause - no restrictions - rules. The officer corps consists of agenda driven, Democrat campaign strategists David Axelrod, Dick Morris and Paul Begala et al, the MSM are their foot soldiers. We'll get back to you as soon as we've flushed out the hidden Secretaries of War. While neocons were celebrating the end of history, the opposition unilaterally connived to no longer play by the Geneva convention.

Or let's try explain that in sports terms. Say you are a member of a sports team. All members but you received a letter with recent changes in the rulebook. The next time you enter the field, things will seem strangely different. You'll catch up and get the picture eventually (or not), but right now we are in a defining presidential election in which one party no longer plays by the old rules.

Either Republicans adopt some of the street wise Alinsky Rules for Radicals as championed by the Dems, or think up some winning strategies of their own, fast and furious. Here we advocate the latter, foregoing the unedifying gutter ethics as advocated by the radical Left.

- Caption: the OODA LOOP, of which the Palin VP choice was an example - fighter pilot John McCain must be well versed -

Republicans are always on the defensive, which makes sense for a conservative party. But that means that the forces of 'progress' and 'change' will always have the advantage of the attack. Remember, offense is the best defense.

This has been the frame of reference for donkeys years. The opposition has accumulated loads of strategies and tactics to play a winning game. In fact, they are always on the advance, while conservatives have steadily been losing ground. We may even have reached tipping point in an Obama tenure, when the latitude to recover any lost ground, may be forever forfeited.

After the collapse of the Soviet Union Republicans and conservatives (neo conservatives to a much lesser extent) have taken their eyes off the ball, falling for the oldest trick in the book yet, the assumption that the opponent thinks like them, and therefore must have conceded defeat. Per Fukuyama, it was game, set and match - or was it?

But the forces of change neither sleep, nor will they ever acknowledge that their ideology is based on a fallacy. That has been the whole point of the subjectivist campaign over the last two centuries: "If reason makes no sense to your argument as reality clearly shows otherwise, attack reason as pernicious and superficial, and persuade the world that reality doesn't exist."

The beast no longer presents itself by the old Socialist epithets; these have no meaning to younger voters anyway (the commie memes would have been useful, given that they pierce the romanticist PR bubble). Today's neotot guise is that of the Postmodern politician, fuzzy, bordering the anti statesman. Passion driven, but undefined messages of 'hope' and 'change' have taken the place of objective definitions.

They project the image of a slight lean towards a few carefully targeted collective measures, and seem vaguely sympathetic to larger governments, that befit "the demands and requirements of a fast globalizing world" ... all for the greater good, of course.

The approach to working the masses is charged with high emotion; fact, truth and reality are putty, pliable as the aim requires. The message is that times truly have changed, that old laws have become obsolete, that man has evolved into a new being with a superior morality who is no longer in need of the crude logic of shopkeepers. Truth is, that metaphysical laws do not change, only man-made creations do.

And so they play at impressions, perceptions, building false image constructs (e.g. the bitter, angry McCain or the haute couture addicted Palin), catching emotions before they're filtered and exposed to the harsh reality of reason.

This trick is even easier to pull on impressionable young people whose minds are open to suggestion (see also "The Comprehensive Guide to Youth for Obama"). It is very old playbook harking back to old Europe during the interbellum, when Mussolini and Corporal Hitler were playing the masses with false dichotomies, vacuous sound bites and the overwhelming demagogy of passion with an appeal to the will of the people.

The Left - by their innate philosophy of coercion that gives them a free pass to manipulate people's minds - have harnessed a host of psychological strategies to their battle wagon.

What gives, if in the process they create a semi Fascist, crypto totalitarian society? Or perhaps that is precisely that what they have in mind, so they can pronounce liberal democracy - a corollary of individual rights - obsolete as well. Utopia is always built on the ashes of collapsed empires.

The campaigner of today needs to formulate strategies to deflect the 'end justifies the means' assaults, which are typical of the essentially amoral, pragmatism driven campaigns. You can start by taking their own advice.

Study and read to shreds Hillbuzz' "Three things the Obamedia will do to depress Republican turnout and help Obama": resist the mantra of the media cyborgs, resistence is futile, give up the fight, the race is over; ignore the false siren calls of early landslides, be not impressed by pent up claims - "It’s all a head game, a fake out. All of this talk (...) is just garbage the Obamedia shovels to make you give up and sit home so Obama can win. (...) It really is as simple as that ...

Update: the conceptual framework has now been identified: rather than conventional war it's more like asymmetrical warfare, in which insurgents use all means possible to weaken and defeat the incumbents. Therefore, we should look at counter-insurgency models for a proper answer.

Alinsky's Legacy: the Subversion Handbook

"Republicans still assume that the modern Democratic Party (...) will play fair. (...) it is always easier to do nothing (...) that is the kind of apathy Hitler's forces counted on in the Weimar Republic. The end-justifies-the-means cabal figures that even good people find it easier to do nothing. (...) when Republicans don't pay attention to the corruption and allow themselves to get screwed time and again, they are also in league with the devil. By this failure of will, the sins of omission are as evil as sins of commission. (...) "

--Excerpts from Diane Alden's article "Saul Alinsky and DNC Corruption" (Published Jan. 7, 2003)
_________________________________________________________

'Rules for Radicals' by Saul D. Alinsky is an handbook for how 'Have-Nots' can take power away from the 'Haves.' In it he explains how to manipulate the political system through "community organization" using a mantra of "change". Obama is the embodiment of the Alinsky's Legacy.

This has been known for many years, but even today very few people recognize it.

On 19 October 2008 Colin Powell was dismissive of any link of Obama to radicalism. But he has always been one of the traditional soldiers who think in terms of conventional war (remember the Powell Doctrine) and has never understood Irregular Warfare. This is the thinking that caused so much loss of blood, money, and influence as a result of actions in Vietnam and Iraq.

The ability of Obama to implement Alinsky's plan is due to his appealing image, to his skills, and to the transformation of American culture as a result of postmodern thought. It is not difficult to connect the dots.

1. Barack Obama became involved in community organizing as a result his attraction to the Saul Alinsky approach. Saul was a Marxist who bragged in 'Rules for Radicals' that his success was due to the efforts of Lucifer. This allowed him to lie and cheat and steal to reach an objective. Ends justifying the means had previously allowed Hitler, Mussolini and Lenin to gain power. Who does Obama follow?

2. Before Alinsky, Obama had Frank Davis as a "mentor" in Hawaii. He was also a radical socialist. Thus, it was natural for Obama to gravitate to the revolutionary plans of Alinsky. This in turn made him comfortable with Black Liberation Theology under the tutelage of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

- Caption: Obama celebrating his 1996 Illinois State Senate seat
victory with members of the Marxist controlled New Party. -

3. Then the next logical step in Alinsky's Legacy was involvement with William Ayers, a revolutionary since the 1960s, in the distribution of 100 million dollars to radicalize the youth of Chicago (ed. otherwise known as the Chicago Annenberg Challenge).

4. Finally came a campaign for the presidency which took Alinsky's plan to the national level with support from the far left of the Democratic Party.

None of this would have been possible in traditional American culture, but it was made possible by postmodern thought. The seeds of postmodernism were planted by the chaos, death, and destruction of World War I, it grew into the Counter Cultural movement following World War II, spread through our schools and universities, corrupted the media and the legal system, and eroded the traditional American culture.

Since the 1960s Americans has been transformed by the emotion appeal of a Utopia of individualism, hedonism, and equality of outcomes without any restraints on behavior from sacred authority, i.e. shared values, mores, and attitudes based on morality, ethics, or religion.

No longer does each human have an immortal soul, no longer is patriotism sacrifice for your country, no longer is marriage a life time convent between one man and one woman, no longer is charity for the disadvantaged the responsibility of each individual, no longer is each person responsible for his/her actions, and no longer is there objective truth.

How can a person like Barrack Hussein Obama with such questionable credentials gain support and adulation from millions by using words--which contradict any rational analysis of his past--in subjective appeals to what people desperately want?

Why does black pride and white guilt count for so much? Why does Obama's hypocrisy, financial indiscretions, anti-American past, and questionable associations count for so little? Could the answers be that the USA is now in the declining stages of its cycle? (See: Understanding Change)

How far will the Legacy of Frank Davis and Saul Alinsky be taken? Can it be stopped? Can the cycle be reversed?

Remember Obama told his followers, 'Argue With Your Neighbors, Get In Their Face and GET IN THEIR FACES!". Apparently Obama is telling the leftist lunatics to crash and create chaos at MCain Palin events at the Barack Obama Campaign Website (...) >>>

So we are provided with an instant illustration of Obama's Alinsky tactics: urging his followers to "protest at McCain-Palen rallies" and advertising it at "an event". This is what he considers to be fair campaigning ... oops, already forgot: notions of fairness are not part of the Postmodern 'narrative', the rules for inter-human relations have unilaterally been changed ... traditional social mores just aren't going to cut it anymore - we've to think fast and furious to change our parameters and start acting "outside O's experience" ... here's another Obama blue print (or click to enlarge) ... photos of the geriatric zombie 'event' on Atlas:

We Are All Plumbers Now!

This is perhaps the most ominous aspect yet of both the radicalized Democratic Party in general, and the Obama campaign in particular: they appear to be after ways how the law can the used to criminalize opponents. Uncle Joe would be proud!

Point in case is a local Democratic chairman reacting to Philip Berg's valid lawsuit for Barack Obama to present evidence of natural born citizenship. In this footage we can literally see him looking for ways to delegitimise Berg's efforts: either he's on a personal vendetta, or he must be trespassing on somebody's privacy rights, etc.

This is as much undermining the rule of law, as ACORN is crushing the very foundation of democracy. Republican rallies are almost certainly infiltrated by agitators. These tactics are truly and utterly irresponsible and destructive.

A Pajamas Media article "Justice Dept. Targets GOP Activists" lists one case of legal abuse, Rick Moore in "Obama Wants to Prosecute Republicans Trying to Stop Voter Fraud" chronicles another.

Then there is the minor matter of the Truth Squads (read Missouri Governor Blunt's press release), followed by Obama's judicial obliteration of the Second Amendment.

For the sake of brevity let's not today go into the actions of Action Wire, or the creepy Obama proposals for a national service: it's the legalisms and the mob mobilization culture that are such disturbing features. It's classical Alinsky, taken to the inevitable end: the demoralization and subversion of Western society.

Let's also leave aside the outright lies, misquoting and having fake hysterics over it, the genuine rage that's out of control and the psychological coping devises of displacement and projection (see BDS, PDS, MOI, etc.).

What cannot be ignored today is the hyena mob attack on citizen Joe "The Plumber" Wurzelbacher which is shedding whatever remnants of respectability that perhaps remained. It tells of an end-justifies-the-means mentality that comes with the pragmatist approach. What's more disturbing? The fact itself, that some don't see the problem, or that others completely miss the point?

The unconscionable mob turns on a single citizen, a plumber, so as to divert attention away from the redistributive nature of the Obama policies, the egalitarian collectivism that was to remain shrouded in mystery until "the deal was closed." The episode is exemplary for the ongoing con job.

Today's article by Ruben Navarrette Jr., "The Democratic Party’s Drubbing of Joe the Plumber" sums it up as follows:

“With just a few weeks until the election, Obama made a major boo-boo that could cost him the race. What are Democrats and their simpaticos in the media supposed to do? They can’t turn back time. So instead, they turn on Joe the Plumber.”

This isn't just character assassination; Obama's fascoid thugs are trying to destroy Joe Wurzelbacher as a person for nothing less than exposing their carefully cultivated cover.

On Politeia we often try to analyze current and past events on the philosophical level, that is to say, in the very broad terms 'from orbit.' The assault on Joe is the result of a corollary of Leftist, relativistic philosophy which holds that all ideas are equally valid. Catholics have a saying: "love the sinner, hate the sin". Relativism turns this on its head and says, "let's all be tolerant of equally valid ideas, and let's make persons comply with them. Ideas are sacrosanct, persons fair game.

The series on relativism and violence is an ongoing project, but part I and part II have already been posted.

With a Jacksonian we say, We Are All Plumbers Now.

ACORN Day

Today is devoted to the Association of Community Organizers ACORN.

Reports from all over are being filed in re of voter fraud and other irregular activities.

Remember, the original Bailout Bill pushed by Pelosi and the Dems included a substantial amount of money for...ACORN ... really read this ...

The last few days the attention was focused on the Obama-Ayers axis, the partial denials and admissions on the part of the Obama campaign, and the MSM descending on the library of University of Illinois in Chicago. This, to examine a treasure trove of documents pertaining to the days the gentlemen served together on the boards of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge. Today the attention is shifting to ACORN, the organization that was trained by Obama in Alinsky tactics and for whom he acted as a lawyer.

The ACORN activities work both ways: if they get away with voter fraud, so much the better - if not, they clog up the system ... watch the vid! ...

Soren Dayton
in "Strange Happenings During Ohio Early Voting Period" discusses the update of John Fund's book on election fraud, Stealing Elections: How Voter Fraud Threatens Our Democracy: "(...) the problems of 2000 have not been significantly addressed. A close presidential election that turns on the kinds of issues that arose in Ohio would further delegitimize our democratic system."

Thanks to Palin: "ACORN Fraud"

More voter fraud from ACORN. The Democrats are trying to steal the elections with fraud. This has been going on for years and has been swept under the rug. They need to shut down ACORN and Project Vote. This is not voter disenfranchising, this is to have free and fair elections. This should never be tolerated and those that are involves should be thrown in jail and have their voting rights taken away. Enough is enough. This is getting to be a theme every year. For the past 3 or 4 Presidential votes, ACORN has been caught filing false voter registrations. And to say that it is not their fault is preposterous, ignorance is not a defense against the law. >>>

The Minority Report: "ACORN's Dirty Deeds Spread to Missouri"

Over the last few days a there has been a lot of sunlight exposing the dark corners of the activities of the group called ACORN.

Missouri has not been left out of the action. In Clay County, Republic an Director on the Board of Election Commissioners Dave Reinhart has been on top of a flood of apparently false voter registration cards. We have three confirmed examples of possible electoral fraud. (...) It’s important to note that these three are likely a small fraction of the number of false registration cards that have been turned in by ACORN. Reinhart raised an important point with Caleb Howe of Redstate. ACORN’s employees are paid per registration. They have every incentive to turn in these falsified registration cards. They make more money if they turn in more cards. Fortunately in Missouri (...) >>>

Dr Sanity: "MIGHTY OBAMAS FROM LITTLE ACORNS GROW..." - Part I, Part II

Also courtesy Dr Sanity comes the highly recommended flow chart on the site of "Just Say No Deal" run by PUMA Will Bower (watch him here) - spread it far, spread it wide:
"(...) the reason no one focuses on Obama's "community organizing" is because few understand how it fits into the big picture. Focus, trace, read - revisit if necessary - but do understand why a) Obama has gotten to where he is and why he threatens to continue that meteoric rise - with your tax money - straight to the White House and b) how Obama, his advisors and the Dems are linked to the biggest financial meltdown since the Great Depression (...) >>>

Great footage, but then ... lower than the racism issue (which will actually help Obama!), the kids at the Daily Dross decided to avert reality by implying The One is put in danger from "right-wing militia nuts" (are these people totally unhinged?! ...):

"McCain/Palin Playing The "Terrorist" Card Goes Beyond Mere Campaign Sleaze"

(...) To put it plainly, inciting right wing crowds to consider an American presidential candidate a "terrorist" isn't merely dirty politics or otherwise unseemly -- it comes uncomfortably close to implicitly encouraging actual violence. And that "uncomfortably close" part is putting the most charitable possible face on it." >>>

- Observe the usual shut-up tactics: the racist slur
and enforcing self-censorship through political correctness.
And how like the amoral Left not to get the point!

No one is accusing Barack Obama of being a "terrorist". It is a matter of judgment, making the Presidency vulnerable to blackmail, and it shows a pattern of associating with the enemies of liberal democracy. It is in the order of 'talking to dictators without preconditions'. But it stands to reason: with a past like this, parleying with state sponsors of terrorism is merely being consistent.

Update: Barack Obama’s campaign has been forced to revise statements about their candidate's work for the ACORN (...) “Fight the Smears” (...) contained false information about Obama’s connections to ACORN. Before news outlets reported Obama worked as an ACORN trainer in 1992, the website said, “Fact: Barack was never an ACORN trainer and never worked for ACORN in any other capacity.” The website later revised their “fact” to say: “Fact: ACORN never hired Obama as trainer, organizer, or any type of employee.”The conservative leaning blog Gateway Pundit published archived screenshots of the Fight the Smears site showing the discrepancy. As a presidential candidate Obama has extensive ties to the group currently being accused of voter registration fraud in 11 states (...) >>>

Update: [ACORN] is accused of submitting fraudulent voter registration applications in 13 states this election cycle. Seven of those states have already launched investigations into ACORN’s activities. During the 2006 election cycle, ACORN submitted false applications to election officials in Missouri, New Mexico, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Washington. Several of their organizers have already landed in jail. Seven ACORN workers were indicted for voter registration fraud in Washington last year for submitting nearly 3,400 fraudulent forms (...) >>>

The Hidden Sinisterisms of the O Campaign

As news is breaking in the blogosphere (the MSM are keeping mum) of the potential time bomb under Obama's carefully cultivated personality cult, evidence of yet another sinister ploy is emerging.

First the explosives. The media are nowhere in evidence in the matter, but the initial charges were laid out nevertheless in a NY Post article titled "Obama Tried to Stall GIs' Iraq Withdrawal" by a journalist of doubtful repute. He is however directly quoting a named Iraqi government official, which lends some credibility to the claim in which Amir Tehari alleges that Obama on his recent fact-finding mission in Iraq a few months ago, against official policy ...

"(...) tried to persuade the US commanders, including Gen. David Petraeus, to suggest a "realistic withdrawal date." They declined. (...)". Bob Owens in a PJs article "Obama’s Questionable Diplomacy in Iraq" has a reaction to the allegations from the Multi-National Force Iraq Press Desk. At the same time, while campaigning in public for a speedy withdrawal of US troops from Iraq, Obama also ...

"(...) has tried in private to persuade Iraqi leaders to delay an agreement on a draw-down of the American military presence. According to Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Obama made his demand for delay a key theme of his discussions with Iraqi leaders in Baghdad in July. (...) Obama insisted that Congress should be involved in negotiations (...) "However, as an Iraqi, I prefer to have a security agreement that regulates the activities of foreign troops, rather than keeping the matter open." Zebari says. (...)

The article calculates that "judging by how long the current talks have taken, restarting the process from scratch would leave the two sides needing at least six months to come up with a draft accord. That puts us at May 2010 for when the draft might be submitted to the Iraqi parliament - which might well need another six months to pass it into law." >>>

So, there you have it, for what it's worth, pending confirmation (if any). Video material is available here. The McCain camp has responded that "(...) If news reports are accurate, this is an egregious act of political interference by a presidential candidate seeking political advantage overseas. Senator Obama needs to reveal what he said to Iraq's Foreign Minister during their closed door meeting. (...)" >>>

Ed Morrisey in "Did Obama just confirm Taheri?" on Hot Air comments that "Obama’s national security spokeswoman Wendy Morigi said Taheri’s article bore “as much resemblance to the truth as a McCain campaign commercial.” In fact, Obama had told the Iraqis that they should not rush through a “Strategic Framework Agreement” governing the future of US forces until after President George W. Bush leaves office, she said. Which is exactly what Taheri wrote. Barack Obama went to Iraq and interfered with the diplomatic efforts of the elected United States government, in a war zone no less, by telling the Iraqis to stop negotiating with the President. How exactly does that make Taheri’s column untruthful?"

Obama's involvement with unrepentant domestic terrorist Bill Ayers has also been buried by the media, but it is really far more substantial than "just a guy who lives in my neighborhood" and deflecting charges about the relation with "guilt by association."

Obama and Ayers served together on separate Chicago Annenberg Challenge (CAC) boards for over six years. The rent-free offices of the CAC were situated in the University of Chicago, where Ayers is employed. Although a self-confessed failure as far as improving education standards are concerned, CAC did manage to funnel some $ 100 million to their allies in the Local School Councils (LSC's).

Don't be fooled by that Orwellian term. LCS's are derided by the worried Social Democratic unionist blogger on Global Labor as vestiges, not of grassroots-up democratic institutions, but on the contrary, of strongholds of Marxist top-down authoritarianism: "I do not think that the link made here between the LSC’s and “democracy” is, in fact, accurate," he writes. "I think that such “councils” look eerily similar to efforts by regimes like those in Nicaragua under the Sandinistas and Venezuela under Chavez to impose control over teachers and their independent unions by an authoritarian regime." Is soviet perhaps the word you are looking for?

"Thus, it is not a surprise to me that Bill Ayers has traveled several times in recent years to Venezuela where he has spoken in front of Hugo Chavez and has enthusiastically applauded that regime’s efforts to link education policy to the Chavez “revolution.” As Ayers stated in a speech there in November 2006 “La educacion es Revolucion!” He applauded “the profound educational reforms underway here in Venezuela under the leadership of President Chavez” and he said he “share[d] the belief that education is the motor-force of revolution.” Indeed, all Marxist offshoots like to start reconstructed reality indoctrination as early as possible, preferably before the onset of concept-based cognition.

The Global Labor blogger - perturbed by the Obama 'authoritarian' influence on education - in addition asserts that Obama's eduction adviser, Prof. Linda Darling-Hammond - like Ayers - is persuaded of the justice of the 'educational debt', reparations due to black citizens as 'historically oppressed." Leaving aside the correctness or justice of this claim, chances are that Obama, should he win the elections, would advance Prof. Darling to the education top-slot of his administration.

If Obama doesn't share the Marxist beliefs with his former CAC board colleague Ayers, then why does he have Mike Klonsky serving on the campaign blogs, answering matters pertaining to education and 'social justice', as Global Labor alleges? Both Klonsky and Ayers emerged from the SDS: whereas Ayers started his Weather Underground mob, Klonsky - via the October League - founded the US Communist Party (Marxist-Leninst) (CP (ML)), which was officially sanctioned by the Chinese regime.

The unionist Global Labor blogger in another post, "Who Sent Obama?" (the answer by the way is, Bill Ayers) writes: "(...) in retrospect the Ayers/Ayers (business from above [ed. Ayers' business man father, Tom], local activism from below) joint campaign against both the Chicago School District bureaucracy and the Teachers Union is reminiscent of the kinds of alliances one finds in neo-stalinist regimes like that of Cuba, China or Sandinista-run Nicaragua. In the Chinese Cultural Revolution, for example, Mao appealed to local activists to attack the party bureaucracy. These authoritarian movements often try to build their power against democratic institutions like unions."

Yes, the revolution has a habit of eating its own children!

"Well-intentioned liberals even from the business community are often willing to support such efforts because they view the traditional labor movement as even more of a threat than the neo-stalinist authoritarians like Castro, Chavez or Ortega. While many on the left try to portray such movements as a new form of democracy, they are anything but" [our emphasis].

Get this! What precisely is Obamaism but - by his own confession - the umpteenth version of Marxism light, usually referred to as 'the real third way'? But all we get is obfuscation? All that's being micro scrutinized and discussed - and rightly so - are McCain's policy proposals: what about O's? It is beyond comprehension that in 2008 we are yet again presented with another variety of the ideology with a track record of unprecedented proportions; in the light of present financial crisis journalists are seriously asking the rhetorical question, is Capitalism bankrupt?

Should we be surprised of the sort of tactics that were applied throughout the history of collectivism in the service of the revolution? Another name for community organizer is 'agitator' (go ahead, ask Alinsky) (must we really keep on repeating history?):

The Corner: "The Obama Silencing Machine"

Much of Barack Obama's political success can be traced to a database listing contact information for millions of people, a tool that has proved invaluable in raising record sums of money and organizing a national volunteer network. Now Obama's presidential campaign is increasingly using the list to beat back media messages it does not like, calling on supporters to flood radio and television stations when those opposed to him run anti-Obama ads or appear on talk shows. It did so as recently as Monday night, when it orchestrated a massive stream of complaints on the phone lines of Tribune Co.-owned WGN-AM in Chicago when the radio station hosted author David Freddoso, who has written a controversial book about the Illinois Democrat. (...)The latest use of the database, called the Obama Action Wire, is proving yet another new and potentially powerful tactic in the closing weeks of a campaign that has already been dominated by Internet-based messages and media. >>>
Here's an interview with Freddoso on Glenn Beck.

There are several words which spring to mind to describe such tactics, none of which have pleasant connotations. Enforcers, thugs, militias, Brown Shirts, Storm Troopers, and many more. Atlas Shrugs has the details, both of this and another occasion. It rather answers the pregnant question, what form would O's national service take (don't ever come up with "we didn't know").

Obama to date has been bullet-proof against such circumstantial evidence - cautions from Kenya on his character and associations thrown to the wind.

Increasingly it seems the future of America can go two ways: either Obama wins the elections and the land becomes a crypto semi fascist tranzy republic as admired by the EU, swathes of Latin America and the UN; or - due to 'America's inherent racism' - Obama forfeits the Presidential race, resulting in the morbid Obama intoxicants turning inward imploding in on themselves; or on the contrary, seeking external release with the wrath of Action Wire unleashed upon the nation. Richard Miniter on PJMs ventures a possible future avenue.

Younger people, born after the collapse of the Soviet Union have no idea about the depths of the Orwellian machinations from hell; older ones, lured into a false sense of security by the 'peace dividend' have allowed themseves to forget: to their benefit, here's the latest on Hugo Chavez' human rights record over the last ten years: read US for Venezuela for a preview of the dystopia of Obamanation.

Whatever the outcome of the postmodern culture war, fasten seat-belts please, very tightly.

Update: Melanie Phillips has done some research; for an overview of that read The Spectator's "The Long March To The White House". Here's an instructive sample of the classical Marxist lingo in which CPUSA supporter Frank Chapman described Obama’s victory in the Iowa caucus in the People’s Weekly:

Obama’s victory was more than a progressive move; it was a dialectical leap ushering in a qualitatively new era of struggle. Marx once compared revolutionary struggle with the work of the mole, who sometimes burrows so far beneath the ground that he leaves no trace of his movement on the surface. This is the old revolutionary ‘mole,’ not only showing his traces on the surface but also breaking through.’

Phillips concludes: "Ah yes, redefining deviancy as normality, the agenda indeed of Gramsci/Alinsky: patron saints of community organisers, apostles of deeply underground mole-like revolutionary Marxism, architects of the wildly successful undermining of western morality and society in America and Britain -- and now poised to embed itself in the White House, epicentre of the oppressive global capitalist regime, itself. Join up the dots."
