While Europe's old guard is embracing the multicultural blessings of 'diversity' and 'otherness', at it's soft underbelly, the cradle of its civilization, Greece, is fighting a Sisyphus battle against the refuge of the Middle East:

• Deutsche Welle: "Greece asks EU for emergency border team to stem illegal immigration"

The European Union has answered a call for help by Greece as it struggles to cope with a growing tide of illegal immigrants entering the country from Turkey. A rapid border intervention team is expected to be deployed.

A rapid intervention team from the EU border agency, Frontex, will be deployed for the first time to Greece to help shore up the country's porous border with Turkey, the European Commission has said in a statement. The move comes after Greece put out an emergency call for the border team, which is to act under Greek authority. (...) >>>

FRONTEX operates in the Greek islands since 2009 with limited success. There is a big problem and still the EU in Brussels does not really want to "rock the boat" with the autocratic and theocratic regimes in the Middle East that "export" their young and restless population into Europe. Along with those, you have the spread of radical Islam in the European cities.

So, the Middle Easterns and the Pakistanis achieve three aims at the same time:

- reduce unemployment and their domestic social-political unrest, 

- increase their incomes from remmitances to the home countries,

- and spreading their influence in Europe.

The question is ... what does Europe exactly achieve by allowing this situation? Postmodernism, Leftism, moral and political collapse perhaps as well as dynamic entrance of "Islamic capital" into Europe, seem to be some of the answers. (...)

Is this the raw reality Europe's politicians want to keep from their citizens? That the influx of illegals is a cynical, deliberate and calculated export of surplus populations? Perhaps that is the reason for their vehement denial and evasion of reality, the court cases and trials for "crimes of expression" against Geert Wilders in the Netherlands, and in Austria against Susanne Winter and Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff to name but a few?

Oddly enough similar situations are going on the United States, where the southern border is under siege by illegal aliens wreaking havoc in border towns and hamlets. The Democrat Party and the President himself have to their eternal shame gone as far as to denounce the state of Arizona for passing an emergency bill to deal with the situation at the UN, as well as at the heart of the Republic, in Congress where Mexican Present Calderon was allowed to give a lecture on human rights!

The rise of 'populist' freedom parties all over Europe, and in America with the Tea Parties, is no coincidence. Postmodern progressives keep framing them as 'populist', because they aren't willing to let on yet that this is a genuine grassroots uprising against their numerous betrayals. So they pretend 'demagogues' and 'racists' like the Tea Partiers and Geert Wilders are fanning the flames and that illegal immigrants are merely the price of a colonial past and very little else.

The trial of Wilders is just a measure of how far they are willing to go. Very Far! The Dutch Justice Dept. has turned out to be entirely corrupt. Let's hope the walls of Greece will hold for the time being. After all, they dealt with these kinds of problems before.

There's a culture war going on that must be won from the postmodernists before these problems get solved. N.B. After Germany's Angela Merkel, we may now have France's Nic Sarkozy on the retreat!

Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights Hammarberg has made it known asylum seekers will not be returned by Greece as “asylum seekers, including persons transferred under the ‘Dublin Regulation’, face extremely harsh conditions in Greece”. "In his first-ever oral intervention as a third party before the European Court of Human Rights, Commissioner Hammarberg provided his observations on major issues concerning refugee protection in Greece, including asylum procedures and human rights safeguards, as well as asylum seekers’ reception and detention conditions."

Delusion, Denial and Cover Up in a Dutch-Indonesian Diplomatic Row

Indonesian President Yudhoyono, head of state of the most populous Muslim country in the world, this week called off an official state visit to the former colonial power, the Netherlands.

A diplomatic spat is growing as the embassador to the Netherlands, Junus Effendi Habibie, recently called Islam skepticism an 'Angst psychosis'.

To believe that one would of course have to be in denial over the 16,197 terrorist attacks that rocked the world since 9/11.

But we know the drill by now: Islam is never responsible for anything that is done in its name.

The twist is in the details however. The row is covered up by a human rights issue raised in the Netherlands by an unofficial head of state, that of the separatist island nation of the South Moluccas (everything Malukan on the Maluku Start Page).

In the Netherlands, President-in-exile Wattilete of the counter revolutionary government of the Republik Maluku Selatan (RMS) issued legal proceedings to have Yudhoyono arrested upon entering the country and promised to take the case to the European Court of Human Rights if he has to.

The story took another twist this morning when it transpired that the actual reason for cancelling the state visit was the prominent role of Islam critic, Geert Wilders in the current formation of the first center-right Government in the country's history (motto: "Freedom & Responsibility"). Wilders' party isn't part of the Cabinet, but is a formal coalition partner, supporting it.

Criticism in Indonesia is mounting. The Jakarta Post is listing a number of issues that might have been settled in Indonesia's favor:

The President’s decision, allegedly made to “protect the nation’s dignity”, quickly boosted the President’s standing and appeased the nationalist camp at home. In the long run, however, it will jeopardize the country’s relationship with the Netherlands. 

(...)  it prevented the President from obtaining the Netherlands’ written recognition of Indonesia’s sovereignty, which would have automatically cleared a diplomatic hurdle that has existed since the Netherlands handed over the archipelago to the Indonesian government in 1949. 

(...) the President could have used the visit to boost economic cooperation between Indonesia and the Netherlands and tap more investment for Indonesia. According to the Indonesian Embassy’s website, the volume of trade between Indonesia and the Netherlands two years ago was US$3.9 billion and Indonesia enjoyed trade surplus of around $2 billion. The Netherlands was the seventh-largest investor in Indonesia in 2008, and the second-largest EU investor in Indonesia in the same period. 

(...) if the President had continued with his visit, he also would have been able to improve Dutch understanding of Islam. As the leader of the world’s most populous Muslim-majority nation and third-largest democracy, Yudhoyono has the credentials to speak on the subject of Islamic tolerance. Which has indeed something to answer for as Christian persecution in Indonesia is escalating in street attacks. Christian Today:

Yes, yes, we know the drill ... Islam is the religion of tolerance and peace, for those who submit to it.

Another curious background detail: racist anti-fascists love to bring up a psychological reason for Wilders' alleged 'Islamophobia' and 'obsessive' peroxyde blond hairdo.

'HairForceOne's maternal grandfather, a colonial working in Indonesia (gleefully said to have been fired dishonorably), married Johanna Meijer, a girl from a local Jewish-Indian family.

That apparently is enough to make Wilders a "pur sang post colonial revengist, obsessed with countering post World War II, geopolitical changes and righting historical wrongs".

In yet another twist President-in-exile of the RMS, Wattilete thinks the recent spate of fires in Maluku churches have been set by Indonesian agents, not by Moroccan yobs, with whom there have also been serious tentions in recent months. "The fact that Yudhoyono has called off the visit is proof he hasn't  a clear conscience", said Wattilete.

The Wilders Trial (IV): Fish Always Stinks From the Head

The Wilders trial has resumed and its aims and purposes have become apparent. There's precedent of course as well as the happy circumstance that Jordan and other Islamic countries are keeping mum for the duration of the trial. But the most important reasons are political and ideological.


The trial has haunted the election campaign, the election itself and finally also coalition talks between the conservative Liberal party VVD, the torn Christian Democrat party CDA and Wilders' own Freedom Party. At least four attempts to avert the historical right of center coalition have failed so far. The trial is the last ditch resort to render Wilders politically untouchable.

The President of the Court of Amsterdam, Jan Moors reminded me of  Sméagol (or Gollem) of The Lord of the Rings, a hobbit who became so obsessed with the ring that enslaved him, that it corrupted him physically as well as mentally.

During yesterday's first regular session it didn't take long before Judge Moors made his first mistake. Defending council Moszkowicz had invoked the defendant's right to silence. Moors asked Wilders if this was the result of what some opponents have called his "tendency to posit tenets, but avoiding the debate". "It would seem you are doing that here AS WELL". The operative words being here 'as well'. Apparently the Judge shares that conviction.

The accusation is often levelled by opponents in the mainstream media, but also by Wilders' political Nemesis in Parliament, 'social liberal' party leader Alexander Pechtold. Moszkowicz started proceedings to have the Judges dismissed for being biased'. The Left haven't a clue how ideologically motivated their positions really are. To them, they are a model of neutrality.

Perhaps it's just a coincidence that the tribunal that will hear the allegation is presided over by a Judge who has seen to it that Pim Fortuyn's assassin will be back into society as early as May 6, 2014.

Getting Wilders prosecuted was no mean feat. Evil tongues are whispering that the first plaintiffs, weren't even personally involved. As with the Danish Motoons it took a while before a few trustworthy complaints could be lodged. Only then did the extreme Left's (organogram) hate campaign take off. Prosecutors Paul Velleman and Birgit van Roessel are both working for the National Anti-Discrimination Center, an organization that is investigating and prosecuting so-called 'expression crimes'. It's an abomination in a free, Western society. It just shows how far we've descended into tyranny already!

Velleman also signed off on the arrest of cartoonist Gregorius Nekschot. The Gestapo would have been proud! He has a very mixed record. Complaints filed (amongst others) Abraham Moszkowicz (now Wilders attorney) against the first EU bank President's 'black widow', Gretta Duisenberg for antisemitism, were dismissed by Velleman. The same happened to charges against the Al Tawheed Mosque, which the intelligence service AIVD is suspecting of complicity in terrorism. Theo van Gogh assassin, Mohammed Bouyeri frequented the Al Tawheed.

Velleman and Van Roessel assisted Fokko Oldenhuis, a Professor at Groningen University to lodge more indictments against Wilders. In an interview last year Oldenhuis said he thinks Wilders' statements are against the Dutch Judeo-Christian tradition. Never mind that toleration of the intolerable is a mortal sin.

BREAKING NEWS - De Telegraaf newspaper disclosed this morning that Justice Minister Ernst Hirsch Ballin - who even this weekend was stoking opposition within his own Christian Democrat party against the coalition - was involved  at an early stage in the decision making process whether Wilders was to be prosecuted. In March 2008 the Prosecution Service consulted Leiden University Professor Rick Lawson, a talking head for the MSM.

Lawson concluded that this was 'justified'. The advice was received at the Service with cheers, according to internal emails. "What an excellent piece of work!", they concluded. Who's still having doubts about the political direction of the people involved at the Dept. of Justice can now rest assured: this is no bulwark for the freedom of expression!

Bram Moszkowicz reacted angrily:

"It has been discerned from these emails that the indictment of my client has been discussed at the highest ministerial level. Moreover, this has been a political decision".

The service doesn't think is strange at all. The Minister is politically responsible, so of course he was involved. Obviously these people are bending over backwards to prove there's still an independant judiciary in the Netherlands [/sarc]. They are the same people who maintain Wilders is a clear and present danger to the rule of law!

It's a good job coalition talks are at the final stages. It's time for spring cleaning at the Justice Department. Let's hope they bring lots of desinfectant.

A special Amsterdam court tribunal ruled on Tuesday that the trial of MP Geert Wilders on charges of inciting hatred can go ahead on Wednesday, despite claims that the sitting judges have shown bias. On Monday, Wilders’ lawyer Bram Moszkowicz challenged the legitimacy of the court after the presiding judge appeared to criticise Wilders’ decision not to answer any questions. Wilders evoked his right to silence at the start of the trial, saying he would not answer any questions and that his lawyer would answer on his behalf. Is the Palace Coup Against Geert Wilders Failing?

Background
Slowly but surely it's becoming apparent how the Dutch establishment, commonly referred to as 'the regents', led by Her Majesty Queen Beatrix and her chief advisors, are neutralizing the election results in which the Right wing liberal party (VVD) and Islam critic, Geert Wilders (PVV) emerged as winners.

But tactical errors have been made, primarily by the Left's major protagonist, Labor leader and multicultural aficionado, Job Cohen, the former Mayor of Amsterdam. After having explored and rejected the initial plan to form a grand coalition with three Leftist parties, Cohen insisted talks to go ahead to explore the possibilities of a Rightist cabinet.

He did so for the sole reason, that as long as the possibility was unexplored, it remained a serious option that could be exploited in negotiations. Cohen should have taken his profits long before then. All else - including heading a Leftist coalition as Prime Minister - proved many bridges too far. So the leaders of the Christian Democrats (CDA) and the Center-Right Liberal party (VVD) started unofficial talks last week with Geert Wilders, the Eurosceptic Islam critic.

As was to be expected, the parties found common ground in an anti-Keynesian approach to the economy, fiscal and social responsibility and free enterprise with less rules and regulations. They informed the Queen's emissary, Ruud Lubbers this weekend that formal negotiations will be starting as of Monday with the view of forging a minority government, supported in Parliament by Wilders' PVV Party.

The Left almost immediately exploded in a combination of whining, theatrical drama and ferocious attack, framed around matters of statecraft and the immorality and unconstitutionality of Islam criticism. Epithets like a 'Rightist coup', and a 'minority dictatorship' aren't shunned. A Parliamentary debate is on the role for Wednesday in the presence of Lubbers, and some are calling for parallel talks between Leftist parties

So, here we have bigotted Leftists who've never had any qualms about ripping into hereditary royalty and who - for decades - have been ridiculing Christianity without merci! The same hypocrites are now holloring about the 'sacrilege of a Holy Book' (meaning the Koran) and the Queen's orders being dissed in favor of the primacy of Parliamentary politics. So far the whining.

The second line of attack is far more insidious. It is framed around Wilders attack on Islam that is - they allege - infringing on the constitutional rule of law. It touches the non-discrimination article, as well as the freedom of conscience and expression. In the postmodern approach, Islam is a religion or an ideology like any other and should be respected as such (except Christinity of course, which is uniquely evil). Inconvenient realities and historical and scriptorial evidence to the contrary, is typically ignored and evaded.

In truth, any ideology - and that includes religion - should never be elevated above critique like Islam is trying to accomplish. It's cover for the lack of individual responsibility in the Umma, who's core activity is the institutional discrimination of kaffirs, or infidels, unbelievers, the Dar-El-Harb or the eparchy of war (only in submission to Islam is peace).

But the Left has been showing its totalitarian roots lately by positioning all opposition morally beyond the pale! This, dear readers, is the stuff of tyranny and mob rule.

Let's have a look at this invective today in the Leftist media bulwark De Volkskrant. "Black Friday", by the self-styled historian Jan Dirk Snel is anything, if not theatrical. The title is in reference to the news announced yesterday of the formal negotiations between the three Rightist parties. Get this drama:

"Friday July 30 2010 is already known as Black Friday. It is beyond doubt the blackest day in Dutch history since May 4, 1945 [sic] (although we don't know yet what's ahead). It is the day in which some Dutch political parties have infringed upon a basic principle.

The main gist is this: Wilders should be dealt with like the Communists were. Not only is Wilders crossing a constitutional line, but so are the two party leaders who've accepted his 'abject ideas' implicitly by entering into talks with Wilders. Apparently Leftists do understand the notion that negotiating with an immoral party renders one complicit. I wish they'd remember that next time when they advocate talking to the Islamofascists of Iran and their proxies in Syria, Turkey, Venezuela and Palestine, to name but a few.

Point is, Wilders isn't an immoral party but one which defends Western values against the onslaughts of an intolerant, supremacist ideology. In this repect the historian's subconscious mistake that Friday was the worst day since the country was liberated from Nazi occupation is telling, because indeed, the same people would have defended Nazism as well as "an ideology like any other"; Chamberlain thought so too when he negotiated the Munich Agreement with Corporal Hitler.

Enough said on the basic intellectual dishonesty of the Leftist argument and the obnoxious moralistic tone by which they are already whipping up hatred in their base. Some are planning action as we speak and are calling for the three party leaders to be tried for ... what? I'm not sure, but give them a day or so and they'll have reinstored the crime of sedition.

Those who support the Right are not buying it any more. It's rhetoric, drama, narrative, Sorelian myth-making, Marxist dialectic, and all the other sophistry we've been hearing from the anti Western, counter Enlightenment totalitarians since the days of Kant and Hegel. Looks like we're done at last.

The next few weeks will be crucial for fundamental change in the Netherlands, a country that has been ruled by Leftist regents for donkey years. About one thing we can be sure: opposition will be no less fierce and toxic than the stuff we've come to know as Bush Derangement Syndrome. No method or tactic will be left untried. The end justifies the means: the enemy deserves it!

The Palace Coup Against Geert Wilders, Round Two

Continued from Part I: "How the Dutch Establishment Defused Wilders".

Slowly but surely it's becoming apparent how the Dutch establishment, commonly referred to as 'the regents', led by Her Majesty Queen Beatrix and her chief advisors, are neutralizing the election results in which the right wing liberal party (VVD) and Islam critic, Geert Wilders (PVV) emerged as winners.

A majority right wing coalition with the Christian Democrates (CDA) was initially indicated. But the CDA were the major losers in this election and assumed the role of modest bystander. The CDA sports a vocal left wing, as well as a host of transnational progressivist elder statesmen. All vehemently oppose Wilders, whom they view of as a morally repugnant populist.

They view Islam as perhaps a slightly petulant, adolescent form of Christianity. Their refusal to participate in a coalition with the Wilders party is entirely based on a narrative that covers their refusal to deal with the unwelcome truth about the Islamic ideology.

The initiative to form a coalition for the moment rests with the largest party in Parliament, the right wing Liberal party, VVD led by the nation's most elligible bachelor, Mark Rutte. But Socialists are already beating the drum of "biggest party's having first choice isn't a right, but a custom: now move over for our man to have a go at political musical chairs".

The first round in Operation Defuse Wilders consisted in the all powerful Vice President of the Council of State, 'Vice Roy' Herman Tjeenk Willink (in truth an ordinary career socialist), being appointed king maker. But the modus operandi in this palace coup proved a bit too obvious. Her Majesty is currently speaking softly of being sorry that some of her wayward subjects got the feeling of deliberately being side lined.

This notion was underscored by a short sentence in Tjeenk Willink's advice to the Queen that the Minister's countersignature on Parliamentary Bills could be withheld if "the principles of the democratic rule of law, the international position of the Netherlands, or basic financial policies are at stake". This effectively sidelines any  initiatives that might prove embarrassing to the official transnational progresssivist agenda.

In round two of this operation to de-fang Wilders, Her Majesty once again threw advice of political leaders to the four corners of the wind and appointed as second king maker, this time Ruud Lubbers, a personal confidant, elder statesman, and former UN High Commissioner for Refugees, who was summarily compelled to relinquish that post for infamously groping an American feminazi.

Even the Socialist leader is pressing to please investigate the possibilities of a Rightist government, for the simple reason that it hasn't proved untenable and is therefore still an unexplored option. Wilders is going to have his fangs drawn once and forgood.

The Lubbers M.O. is two pronged. The official line is, we'll talk to all parties, all options are open, dispelling the 'conspiracy theory' that Wilders was purposefully side tracked, in itself proof positive of the progressivists' disdain for the people's intelligence.

At the same time Lubbers is distancing himself from exploring a Right wing coalition on the ground that one option is a minority coalition, the so called Danish option, which is formally not part of his assignment. He can play this game under the cover of the knowledge that his own party (CDA) prefers a center government with the Liberals and the Socialists. But Lubbers' own party leader will be left holding the smoking gun that killed the chances of a center right Government.

While the establishment might succeed in neutralizing Wilders and the Freedom Party it will not survive this operation without seriously soiling itself. It comes at the price of having its often touted democratic credentials exposed as vacuous. It's now clear for all to see that the regent class may have its differences in degrees, but as soon as an outsider asserts itself and starts forming a potential threat to the traditional disbursement of power and jobs, the ruling class sticks together.

This meritocratic nomenklatura is steeped in history and has its wellies firmly planted in Dutch polder clay and in circles of water management. It is a cabal which has its tentacles in government, politics, big corporations, pension funds, unions, employers associations and professional self-governing organizations, transnational progressivists with interests in Europe and the UN, including environmental and philanthropic NGOs.

The political landscape isn't atomized as they claim, it's merely laid bare that the country is and always has been a biotope for reactionary Hegelians and crypto Counter Enlightenment operatives.

Leaders of the CDA and VVD have been caught dining last night. Just as I started a twaction (action on Twitter) to encourage the CDA along with an email campaign, the news broke that almost all CDA parliamentarians have given their blessings to the talks.  It also turned out that the segment of the party that most morally condemns Wilders as the second coming of Adolf Hitler, is heavily involved in Leftist causes that receives millions of euros in state subsidies. This one I like particularly: a former chairwomen is receiving 2 million as Head of the Twin City Association Netherlands-Nicaragua!

Wilders Goes International With the Freedom Alliance

Geert Wilders, although he emerged as the single largest winner of the June 8 general elections, has been sidelined by the Dutch establishment, who fear damage to the country's prestige abroad and in the eyes of the transnational progressivist community, of which it is a vocal member and an ardent advocate.

The Liberal VVD party, which ended up with most seats in Parliament, is currently engaged in sequestered in coalition talks with Labour and two other minor Leftist parties: one now openly antisemite, the other - the greens - rooted in the Communist Party and the Pacifist Party. Ayn Rand would have spun in her grave of such a lack of ideological hygiene. The shunning of Wilders is evidently a coup of the 'regents' in what it sees as the national interest. The voters be damned. What do they know? When push comes to shove the people are looked down on as voting cattle who've no idea what's good for them. The progressivist 'regent' mentality is alive and kicking in the Netherlands.

Of course they've only made matters worse. The VVD will be the party of treason for decades to come, and all who're slighly Right of center will rally behind the Freedom Party and Geert Wilders. I know I will.

Update: Today, July 18 Wilders gained 11 seats in the polls which translates into 35 seats in Parliament. VVD loses 8.

The latter, prominently figuring with Ayaan Hirsi Ali on Al Qaeda's new, glossy, 'hopey-changey' death list (new buzz word: "inspire"), is taking his message of Western values and democratic principles abroad. The International Freedom Alliance (IFA) is primarily targetting countries with a strong Muslim minority, but with a political deficit where the defense of individual rights and liberty are concerned.

Frequent visitors of this page will be aware of the central thesis of this blog, that relativist ideology has mentally crippled people in the West to defend their values against assertive Mohammedanism. The latter have no qualms whatsoever about absolutism. Considering all cultures and religions equally valid, as is the case in multiculturalism, is fine and dandy as long as everyone agrees with the premise. But it leaves one defenseless against supremacists.

The problem in the Netherlands has emerged because the VVD party has now aligned itself with the collectivists of red, green and 'purple' hue. There seems to be a world-wide tendency towards collectivism, including covert Socialism and Islamism. Bad news for liberty.

In a press briefing yesterday Wilders (see video) announced he will be joined by a number of global freedom fighters, known as the counter jihad movement. The idea was launched as people abroad complained they sorely lack a movement like the Freedom Party to stand up for freedom.

"It's not going to be a Freedom Party International", Wilders emphasized. It will be an umbrella institute for likeminded people all over the world, who offer each other help and support. The IFA may offer financial, organizational and ideological support to individuals and organizations world-wide, to energize societies and to pressure politicians.

The presentation of the website is planned before the end of the year, just after his trial for 'group insult' is due to end. Information will be made available in Dutch, English, French, German and perhaps even in Arabic.

How the Dutch Establishment Defused Geert Wilders

Slowly but surely it's becoming clear how the Dutch elite, commonly referred to as 'the regents', led by Her Majesty and her chief advisor, the all powerful Vice President of the Council of State, 'Vice Roy' Herman Tjeenk Willink (in truth an ordinary socialist, career politician), have neutralized the election results in which the right wing liberal party (VVD) and Islam critic, Geert Wilders emerged as winners.

A majority right wing coalition with the Christian Democrates (CDA) was initially indicated, probably with the support of two minor Christian parties. But the CDA were the major losers in this election and assumed the role of modest bystander.

The CDA sports a vocal left wing, as well as a host of transnational progressivist elderly statesmen, of which Ruud Lubbers is a prime specimen. All vehemently oppose the Wilders agenda. The party declined to participate in talks. Seen in current light, this was probably part of the strategy.

Labour leader, Job Cohen had been spreading memes even before the elections that the Wilders agenda is "touching the edges of the rule of law". Which is a chutzpah, considering it's the postmodern 'regents' in the Justice Dept., the judiciary and in the multicultural, red/green cabal that is appointing them, that are a clear and present danger to the rule of law. Present story is a typical example of their anti-democratic, authoritarian mindset.

But facts and reality are irrelevant to these people. They are obsessed with their own subjective reality, the narrative they've constructed in which Wilders is a fascist and an enemy of the rule of law. This also helps explain, that while Public Prosecutors declined to procecute Wilders for "group offence" (insulting Muslims), a special anti-discrimination Court found reason to go after him nonetheless.

The socialist 'Vice Roy' is playing a central role in the controlled detonation of the Wilders explosive device. The key to this drama was recently discovered by a republican blogger (Hat Tip: Naar De Knoppen). An article entitled "The Constitutional Coup of State" on weblog ProRepublica states:

The answer lies in the last sentence of para C1 of Tjeenk Willink's advice to Mrs Van Amsberg (Her Majesty's common name). On the basis of this advice the head of state ordered Messrs Rosenthal (the Liberal party negotiator) and Wallage (the Labour negotiator) to form a government with the parties referred to as Paars+*.

The secret is summed up in one short sentence: 'The countersignature on Parliamentary initatives are to be refused if the principles of the democratic rule of law, the international position of the Netherlands, or basic financial policies are at stake.

The Government can decline signing a Bill into law, even if it has the support of the majority in Parliament.(...) >>>

*Paars+ consists of a political immorality, enough to make Ayn Rand spin in her grave. It consists of the right wing Liberal VVD, Labour, and 2 more junior, red/green left wing parties. It's a horror cabinet in which the leftist bloc can easily neutralize the rightist austerity agenda.

The author of the article is obviously a fierce critic of 'Mrs Van Amsberg' and the cabal surrounding Her Majesty. He or she is asserting that "just about every subject" is covered by the three conditions summed up in the advice. I beg to differ. This is clearly a device solely meant to neutralize Wildersian initiatives.

The "principles of the democratic rule of law" is referring to international treaties and human rights covenants. Wilders wants to deport criminal immigrants and possible also citizens of foreign descend. He has also proposed an immigration moratorium for Muslim countries.

"The Internatonal position of the Netherlands" is in reference to recent threats by Jordan to prosecute Wilders and demands for explanations from other Muslim entities (my suspicion is the powerful OIC is also playing a role in the current prosecution of Geert Wilders). Dutch exporters in the private sector have also been quick to ditch liberty for sausages and dairy produce.

The final condition, where "basic financial policies are at stake" is even more sinister. Is there a Keynesian cabal as well at work, meant to undermine the right wing austerity program? Just what is going on here?

This isn't over. Not by a long chalk!

"We Didn't Know" is No Excuse

Andrew Bostom is publishing a series on Pajamas on the history of infidels in Iran. Bostom is an authority on the fate of non Muslims in Muslim conquered lands, the so-called dhimmis. Part II was just released. Part III is coming up soon. We'll link to it as soon as it becomes available. The historian Bat Yeor coined the term in her book "Islam and Dhimmitude".

Would the Amsterdam anti discrimination Court, where Geert Wilders is currently on trial, be aware of all that? Given that 15 expert witnesses out of the 18 requested by Wilders were rejected by the Court, defending counsel's reaction was that "apparently they already know".

The series is reminiscent of Wilders' proposal for the rag head tax! Regretably it went nowhere. It would have given cause to a lifely debate. A junior journalist who went undercover in Wilders' party, said he even regretted it.

Turns out, the Nazis invented very little themselves. Antisemitism laws appear to have been lifted 1o1 from Muslim tradition. Part II of Bostom's series relates that even the World War II Star of David badge is an old Iranian custom. All that might well have had something to do with the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, an uncle of Yasir Arafat, who was a regular on the Nazi scene.

We have our own theory here, that the genocide of the Jewish tribe of Medina, the Banu Qurayza, later stood model for both the Armenian, Greek and Assyrian genocide, as well as the Holocaust of World War II. At least it must have justified it, because it gave the mass murders a religious base.

The Wilders Trial (III): postmodern ideologues at Court

Today, the second day of preliminary hearings, Geert Wilders launched two dedicated trial websites (in English - Dutch).

This Court, specifically instated to hear cases of discrimination, today decided it does have a legal base to handle the case. Wilders's defence counsel, Abraham Moszkowicz had argued the Court has no standing to hear suits involving Members of Parliament. You wish!, said the pomo Court.

It's clear the Court wants to prevent this case from becoming a trial on Islam, as Leon de Winter still hoped for in this article on WSJ. The Court rejected the request by the Prosecutor that Wilders be interrogated by an investigative Judge.

Of the 18 witnesses requested by Wilders, only 3 were accepted. Theo van Gogh's butcher, rejected - Ahmadinejad's personal cleric, rejected - 5 legal experts, rejected - Afshin Ellian, rejected - Robert Spencer, rejected.

The Judges deem themselves sufficiently sage to deal with the technical intricacies without the assistence of legal expert witnesses. They've got also ample insight into Islamic exegesis, thank you very much. Moszkowicz typified it thus: "This Court basically says: we already know." Really?

Accepted as expert witnesses on Islam are psychiatrist Wafa Sultan, and arabists Hans Jansen and his student Simon Admiraal. They will be heard behind closed doors. Apparently, the news that Islam isn't the religion of peace after all, must not be disclosed to the world.

Simon Admiraal is credited with this piece of esoteric knowledge:

In traditional Islam, Abraham (Ibraham) is considered a Muslim, as is Moses (Mousa) and Jesus (Isa). Islam cleverly incorporated Judaism and Christianity and made it part of its own dogma, but stripped it of its essences. The purpose is to prove that Islam is the only true religion and has been since the times of Abraham, "the builder of the Kaaba in Mecca". That Jews and Christians beg to differ is irrelevant. Because Islam is the last of the three Abrahamic religions, they can push this revisionism without scruples.

The Court also deemed that the subjectivist indictment of "group slander" is a legitimate charge. Actually, it's an abomination! This country apparently consists of unequal collectives now, instead of equal individuals. Negative rights can only be violated by the state, but instead even private bars and tennis clubs can be dragged to court on charges of discrimination.

What's more, who's to determine what constitutes an insult anyway, let alone an "unnecessary" one?

In objective (blind) law, the choice would have been made for absolute speech rights, not for subjective 'insults' as is currently the case.

This plays right into the game of Muslim 'lawfare'. As was to be expected, Postmodernism has breeded a legal monster in which freedom can no longer be defended.

The trial proper will start at some date between 1st June and 31st October. We'll be looking forward then to an exasperating summer.

Wilders, for his part, has commented that a fair trial is now no longer possible. "This Court isn't interested in the truth." Moszkowicz phrased it best: "A Court that is overreaching itself is frightening." Indeed, postmodern ideologues abound. Or, as Aaron Eitan Meyer has it in "Stacking the Deck Against Geert Wilders", the rejection of so many experts "feeds the impression that that this is a results-driven exercise rather than a serious impartial attempt to wrestle with the profound issues presented".

An auxilary plan is already in the works: the reading out loud of 18 files full of expert testimony, for hear they will, whether they like it or not.

Update:

! One day later a verdict by a The Hague Court proves the evil that Dutch anti discrimination law produces. Apparently, Urenco producing A.Q. Kahn wasn't sufficient warning!

NRC: "Ban of Iranians at nuclear sites overturned"

A judge on Wednesday tossed out a 2008 boycott barring Iranians from Dutch nuclear sites.

The Brits are planning a show of support on March 5.

The Canadian Jewish Defence League has held support rallies on January 20 (video I, video II).

The Wilders Trial (II): the Subversion of the Law

On the eve of his trial Wilders had the fighting spirit. He's going for nothing less than an acquittal. "The truth about Islam must be told, even if this displeases some," he told a press agency

Another well known Islam critic, Daniel Pipes has disclosed in an article in Middle East Forum his Legal Project has worked on Wilders' behalf, raising substantial funds for his defense and helping in other ways as well:

"We do so convinced of the paramount importance to talk freely in public during time of war about the nature of the enemy".

Evidently appeasers are willing to evade any sustained effort. "War? What war?" All they see are individual, unrelated, criminal incidents involving disenfranchised victims and 'extreme right-wingers' using distasteful epithets.

NRC newspaper opines Mohammed Boyeri, the murderer of Theo van Gogh may be able to leave high security jail for a few hours to take the stand at the Wilders trial. That would be the next best thing to having on the stand Ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi, Khamenei's most important supporter, as Afshin Ellian suggested. Word from the Court room had it that both were indeed on the expert-witnesses list, but the Prosecutor has rejected Bouyeri (he's no expert, and insane to boot).

The law in the Netherlands has collapsed, subverted as it is by postmodern infiltrators. At some point in time 'the group' was introduced as an operative unit; one of the charges against Wilders is "group slander". In doesn't get any more subjective than that! It has no place in a free country based on individual rights and equality before the law!

Also the very point of the law - objectivity, one law for all as symbolized by Lady Justice's blindfold - has been abandoned. As a consequence Judges no longer judge on principle. Instead lawsuits are judged on a case by case basis 'in context'. There's a real danger of legal distrust, even arbitrary law, and the worst form of legal inequality, discrimination by the state. 'Quality newspaper' NRC observes:

"The judge examines whether a statement is “unnecessarily offensive” in relation to public discourse. Judges then carry out a “contextual examination”: who says it, what he says, and what is the origin of the statement. Politicians, artists, columnists, imams and other professional participants in public debate get extra leeway.

Kustaw Bessems in an article in De Pers hits on it, but fails to fathom the impact. Ranting about Wilders' second target - progressive elites, their attitude of "nanny knows best" and it's bastion, the law - he goes on to remark that:

"(...) Verdicts always have something subjective about them. The Court in Amsterdam is partly itself to blame for the public anger, by issuing an indictment that is in effect a political conviction, even before the trial against Wilders has even begun".

"Subjectivity is also inherent in the kinds of crimes Wilders is allegedly guilty of: group slander, incitement to discrimination and hatred. There's no smoking gun, just words and a video (Fitna). And the questions that need to be answered are almost philosophical: what constitutes slander? What is discrimination? What's hatred."

"Almost philosophical" ... tentatively ventures a junior journalist! Still, he's about the only one touching upon the problem. I thought we were paying philosophers of law good money to preserve the orthodoxy! Also subverted by "speculative philosophers" no doubt.

Bessems commentary on the trial itself is worth quoting:

Wilders will try to turn the tables and put Islam on trial instead. Witnesses like Islam critic Arabist Hans Jansen, Salafist Sheik Fawaz Jneid, and Van Gogh assassin Mohammed Bouyeri will be called in order to prove that collating Islam with fascism, is not as far fetched as it may seem. (...) Wilders will qualify any outcome but an acquittal, the bankruptcy of the judiciary. (...)

This will probably not be the final verdict. There'll be an appeal and the case may end up at the European Court. But the test, the question if our judiciary system will hold, will be answered. This is the elite's last stand.

Well, I don't know about that. This country has a long history with oligarchies, commonly referred to as 'regents'.

While the defense was concentrating today on questioning the standing of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal in the case, the Prosecution demanded the trial to be postponed, enabling further investigation and interrogation of the defendant. The latter declined the invitation, since "all that needs to be said, has already been said."

The trial was adjourned until February 3.

Let's wrap up with a few choice Wilders quotes that were tweeted out of Court:

"I've devoted my entire life to the freedom of expression; I don't want to hurt anyone; I've got nothing against Muslims".

"It's everyone's right and duty to speak up against an ideology that is a threat to the rule of law".

"Is it true what I'm saying? If so, how come it's against the law".

The Wilders Trial (I): the Expert Witness

Next Wednesday January 20 marks the beginning of a political show trial the likes of which have not been seen in the Netherlands in living memory.

While the Public Prosecution Service studied the case at length and declined to act on it, some postmodern zealots managed to get a minor Amsterdam Court to take up their miguided "anti-fascist" crusade.

Some have detected the insidious hand of the Organization of Islamic Congress (IOC) in the text of the indictment. Others stick to an ideological cabal in the governing coalition in which some have an interest in curbing free speech.

The Charges brought against Wilders are, "insult of a religious group, inciting hatred and discrimination". The text specifically states:

"(...) the Court of Appeal considers criminal prosecution obvious for the insult of Islamic worshippers because of the comparisons made by Wilders of the Islam with the Nazism."

Regrettably the law has abandoned objective principle, and instead decided to review complaints in "context" on a case by case basis. So we are assured that present spectable will be repeated numbers of times, which in itself will have a chilling effect on the freedom of expression.

Self censorship among pundits and artists has already become common practice. No one considers the use of the politically correct Index for the media an intolerable infringement on the freedom of the press. But then, that is how incremental nudging works.

Klein Verzet Blog elaborates on a legal precedent involving "group insult" and the all important differentiation between man and his ideas. Catholics, usually good philosophers, have always understood the difference between sin and sinner.

Prof. Afshin Ellian has had a bright idea. On Friday on his blog on Elsevier (in English) he proposed as follows:

Those in power in Islamist Iran represent a pure form of political Islam. It is a unapologetic form of Islamofascism, which includes antisemitism. The self-appointed President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad often expresses himself in antisemitic terms. (Iran's ruler) Ayatollah Khamenei is supported by other antisemitic clerics holding an ideology that is apocalyptic in nature. They believe that the appearance of the 12th Imam must be triggered through strife and mayhem (like all other collectivist, Utopian narrative, CT).

Ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi is Khamenei's most important supporter. He's a member of various bodies of Government. In an address on January 5 he elaborated at length on the Jewish question. (...)  Geert Wilders MP should subpoena Mesbah Yazdi as an expert witness. Mesbah Yazdi must be questioned about his views on Jews. Are they rooted in the Koran?

The proceedings must be broadcast live. Islam will be on trial.(...) Let defending council Abraham Moszkowicz question him about the Jews and their tragic fate. Wilders should show him historical material and videos of murdered Iranians. Then the parallel between Nazism and Islamism will become apparent.

There are indeed philosophical parallels between Islam(ism) and Western totalitarian ideologies, such as fascism, National Socialism and Communism. The evil only differs in detail and in degree. Reduced to the root these are the common basics:

• anti realist metaphysics;
  
• socialist and anti free market capitalism in economics;
• an anti reason, relativist and subjectivist epistemology; 
• a view of man as a socially constructed victim. 

But it gets at its most problematic when it comes to ethics: i.e.

• collectivism and anti individual rights.

To date in world history there has never been any benign collective, ever. And therein lies the clash of the ummah with liberal-democracy: the former is a collective, the latter rests on individual rights. These cannot be conciliated without laying the ax at the root of Western civilization.

Muslims must be given to understand that the price for living in freedom, is mutual toleration. Westerners must learn that the price of tolerating intolerance, is freedom. And freedom is the ground on which common prosperity rests. These are not vague abstractions, but very real concepts.

We shall be reporting throughout on the Wilders trial. One commentator has detected a certain tension at the Court: these people are "scared to death!" Last Wednesday during Wilders' appeal against the indictment, journalists were shut out of Court House, ostensibly for his safety. But as the pundit remarked, since when do journalists pose a security risk? The actual reason is - and this is our conclusion, not the pundit's - the Court is not only fearful of offering Wilders a platform from which to proclaim his 'abject ideas' - they're also terrified the presence of the press would reveal the event for what it is, a political show trial.
