ClimateGate: Looting on a Global Scale

An entire new, state-sponsored, taxpayer-funded industry is being rolled out: in the US in a crypto Socialist political-industrial complex called the Apollo Alliance. One arm branches off into Europe, called the Lisbon Council.

The vast extent of the deceipt is mindboggling! At the Copenhagen Summit, a group of African nations led by Ethiopia, shall be demanding $67 billion per year from Western developed nations as reparations for the “devastating effects of climate change on the African continent.”

But that's apparently overstating the case somewhat. Some in the environmentalist cabal have calculated that the "climate debt" industrialized nations incurred over the last 200 years is actually close to $100 billion a year. The US is responsible for 30% of that amount, the EU for 25%. Not so, say China and other developing countries: the target should be even higher, in the range of $350 billion.

Just in: pay $10 billion up front and you got yourself a COP15 deal!

Add to that, that the Secretary-General of OPEC has said in a recent interview with The Times that he would support Saudi claims for compensation for oil producing countries, as developed countries move away from "dirty oil" towards "clean" energy sources.

Already taxpayers and consumers are paying through the roof. There's even talk of fuel poverty! And that's just for starters. Given we are already in a very convenient economic and financial crisis, the consequences may be severe indeed. Let's all go down together in One World Socialism!

Since we are talking here of global issues (tranzie code word: interdependence) greater rolls are indicated for various UN honchos and other transnational bodies. This is statism on steroids, moving us further and further away from inherent human rights on which the philosophy of liberty is based, and closer and closer to bondage ... on a global scale.

I do not agree with Immanuel Kant on any given issue, save one: the Global Government may well become a tyranny beyond our wildest nightmares. As we now know some are willing to destroy their own professional base and yes, even the field of knowledge itself to facilitate its looting.

These are no ordinary crimes: it's financial, economic, political and intellectual. The latter is perhaps the worst of all. It must have untold consequences for the way man thinks about knowledge, reality and his view of the world in general.

NewsBusters: "ClimateGate's Michael Mann Being Investigated By Penn State", by Noel Sheppard

As a result of the growing ClimateGate scandal, Penn State University is investigating Michael Mann, its high-profile professor on the sending and receiving end of controversial e-mail messages recently obtained from a British Climate Research Unit. Mann, as one of the originators of the infamous Hockey Stick graph, is the climatologist at the very heart of the global warming myth. As the creator of "Mike's Nature trick," a particularly damning phrase used in one of the e-mail messages in question, Mann is also a key figure in ClimateGate. (...) >>>

Global Warming? World Socialism Is More Like It!

With ClimateGate spreading like an oilspill, the Comintern at the IPCC is increasingly coming over like Baghdad Bob, assuring us business is as usual while the besiegers can already be seen storming the gates.

While the entire world has been lied to and defrauded of their hard earned cash, the greatest victim here may well be the field of science. Regretably people do not see it as hard science being infiltrated and abused by a bunch of postmodern crackpot humanities academics; instead the method itself is being blamed, said to lead to lies instead of objective truth.

It will take a lot of time and effort to restore the scientific method to its former fame and glory. This is a measure of the destruction postmodern thinking is capable of. Just as Kant devised "Pure Reason" to corrupt non-contradictory (or proper) philosophy, his heirs just did the same for science. This always was a Counter-Enlightenment operation.

Their method of "True Science" turns the scientific method on its head: the outcome is dictated by ideology and the perception of science is used to make the facts fit the outcome. Rather like 'scientific' Marxism/Leninism ... remember that? Some things don't change, by nature.

While the persons who called the case for global warming "scientifically closed" were politicians rather than scientists, the very claim flings them firmly into the-dogma-and-eternal-truths department (what else is new with the pomo crackpots!).

Hacking a Way Through the Hottest Hoax

Ever since Emmanuel Kant took up duplicitous sophistry - called by its Orwellian name "Pure Reason" - using false logic to lay the axe at the root of reason, we've seen this parlour trick used against the forces of Enlightenment, again and again. It is in fact a intricate equivocation wrapped in a dense layer of philosophical yada yada to cover up the intellectual shell game.

Kant's dialectic was followed by Hegel's, followed by Marx', followed by Nietzsche's and Heidegger's, followed by the Frankfurt School for cultural Marxism, followed by the contemporary postmodernists of the counter cultural revolution.

- Caption: Thomas Hart Benton's postmodern vision of “Hollywood” in 1937 -

If Marx' version of the dialectic consisted in pitting social classes against each other in which an intellection elite took power in bloody revolutions - ostensibly on behalf of the underdog - today's postmodernists build on a foundation laid by the Frankfurt School, which sought to subvert the free world from within. It was successful beyond their wildest dreams.

Today it's no longer just two social classes with rival interests facing each other, but a global plethora of minorities based on race, gender, religion, culture, geographical origins and national identity, opposing the first world's power made up traditionally of "white, dead males" based on cold reason, egoistic individual rights and selfish, economical development - or so the narrative goes.

The ultimate theater in which this global dialectic is played out is the transnational progressivist heist called the first world's "climate debt" to the third world. It's rooted in a postmodern version of Kant's "Pure Reason", now dubbed "True Science".

The "logic" underlying that narrative is that the West has been industrially revolutionizing itself for some two hundred years, foisting on the world evil devizes it has not asked for: steam engines, ocean vessels, aeroplanes, space rockets, motorcars, refrigerators, washing machines and all those other nefarious consumer implements from hell.

Needless to say that - in analogy of Marx' dialectic - all this revolutionizing went over the backs of peoples located in remote areas on the other side of the globe.

The phenominal world of the dialectics is not just an equivocation, it's rather blunt, dumb and unsophisticated to boot: everything is a zero sum game. Hence the Western world is now handicapped with a "climate debt" to the tune of one hundred billion dollars. Fuzzy math by tranzie officials has calculated that the US percentage of the debt stands at 30%, while the EU's is limited to some 25% (China's by comparison stands at just 5%). Most undeveloped or underdeveloped countries are net receivers.

Quite conveniently the blessings of all these discoveries and inventions are ignored by the Luddites (a better term would be Rousseauians). The sophistry of the dialectic has once again turned reality on its head: development is evil, stagnation is good. And thanks to habit of Western member countries of depositing their worst Socialist political surplus at transnational institutions and world bodies, there's no one in NGO'ism or at the UN available to point out the fact.

COP15, a tranzie code word for the Treaty of Copenhagen, the successor to the Kyoto Protocol, is looming large in a few weeks time. Barack Obama is perceived to be holding the keys to the agreement, having been bribed ... eh, encouraged for the purpose with a preemptive Nobel Prize for eco justice.

- Caption: the exploitation of children is not beyond the means that justify the aim, otherwise covered by the Kantian ethics of good intention: a natural phenomenon as old as the world is now a "man-made" disaster (mea maxima culpa); the good news is that guild can be bought off -

This is why the hacking last week of the University of East Anglia Climate Research Unit, home institution of one of the world’s centers of research into anthropogenic global warming (AGW), comes as a gift from heaven, hopefully just in the nick of time to prevent the egalitarian nightmare of World Socialism from becoming reality. The event - "ClimateGate"- is already shaking the world of "denialists" to the core.

That the lamestream media has managed to ignore the story so far, is indicative of the measure of evasion they are capable of in this hottest hoax and everything else that doesn't fit their construed version of reality. Update: something's being spun right now! James Delingpole of the UK's Telegraph who scooped the story, has a round up (Delingpole's site).

Pajamas Media: "Global WarmingGate: What Does It Mean?", by Charlie Martin

Late on the night of of November 19, news broke on PJM and elsewhere that a large amount of data had been stolen from one of the major climate research institutions by an unknown hacker and made available on the Internet. (...) The hackers released about 172 megabytes of data, and we can be sure examining it closely will take some time. But after a few days, certain things are beginning to become clear.

The data appears to be largely, perhaps entirely, authentic. The emails are incendiary. The implications shake the scientific basis for AGW (anthropogenic (man-made) global warming), and the scientific reputations of some of AGW’s major proponents, to their roots. Let’s look at the files and emails first. (For a running list of the interesting emails, see Bishop Hill’s list.) (...) >>>

Obama, As Good As His Word (on GITMO)

Bringing the 9/11 Soldiers of Allah to a civilian Court in New York - a thousand yards removed from where the towers once proudly stood - was one of the most cherished wishes of the anti America front, from tranzie centrists, to the dimwitted Left and the mentally debilitated anti war brigade.

Now, in power, President Obama is as good as his pre election word - on this point at least.

Apparently with a reference to their occupation of choice in the world of business, the victims of 9/11 in the eyes of psychotic postmodernists are merely "little Eichmanns", dimishing their interests to the point of irrelevance. Moreover, the wish to see politically correct justice done trumps New York as a prime platform for an Islamist propaganda tool. So Attorney-General Eric Holder announced this week to go ahead with it anyway.

The message came against the backdrop of four recently averted terrorist assaults, and the media spectable surrounding the Fort Hood massacre which practically resulted in a parallel reality, so unshaken is the constructed narrative.

All the evidence of Muslim involvement was censored into oblivion; Pre Traumatic Stress Syndrome was spontaneously discovered. To date the narrative is that the Major is a lone, isolated, over-worked and under-paid psychopath of which there are many, many others. The "logic": if you are able to willfully ignore the evidence of terrorist infrastructure behind the attack, the theory of a lone loon stands. Any sleeper cells or self-ignitors can rest assured they will ever be connected to Islamic terrorism.

No one has as yet acknowledged, let alone commented or explained, the truly amazing coincidence of Major Hasan being on the Obama transition team. You can't make this stuff up!
Update on Nov. 17: Presidential Transition Task force on Homeland Security reacting to Major Hasan's participation.

The greatest insight into the Muslim mindset came from Major Hasan himself: he thought Muslim military personnel should be exempted from deployment in Iraq or Afghanistan because obviously "Muslims shouldn't be killing Muslims", something they do on a daily basis on a heartwrenching scale justifying it by religious ordainment; but it also implies the message, it's okay to kill anyone else.

There's really no advantage in having the trial of the 9/11 terrorists in New York, other than the Obama throwing his far Leftist base a bone. The prosecution of CIA operatives apparently has whetted their heavily politized appetites (the Left loves purges).

It's all the holier-than-thou attitude of transnational ideology at the expense of the safety of the American people (all bigoted, middle class Eichmanns, so who cares?). As if justice by military Tribunal is somehow inferior to justice brought by a civilian Court.

Needless to say that the progressive transnationalists assembled in the UN and NGO'ism are mumbling approval. This is after all what the revulsion of the Bush administration was all about. But they won't have to bear the responsibilities of the umpteeth consecutive mistake piled on by Team Obama.

Of the many reasons why this counts as another enormity, let's just highlight one aspect in particular: to abandon the War on Terrorism paradigm for a matter of law enforcement. As Dr Walid Phares, Fellow at the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies explains, the 9/11 Commission itself defined the event an act of war and found the US at fault for not having determined it as such.

PJTV: "Worms Headed for the Big Apple: Dr. Walid Phares on the Terrorists Going to Trial in New York City"

Terrorism has just become a win/win/win proposition for the Islamist hirabahists: if you succeed, all is well and you find your carnal reward in heaven; should you be preempted you earn yourself a prime propaganda and recruitment tool on a first class site at maximum media exposure.

Caroline Glick in an unrelated case recently explained the mistake of handling terrorism as a law enforcement issue. As it happens, Team Obama just nixed the Global War on Terror paradigm altogether, substituting it for an array of vacuous, postmodern epithets of the Hope-and-Change variety.

Listing the overwhelming disadvantages of this course of action is enough to make you want to drop out of the discourse, like Red Square, who's seen it all happen before back in the USSR. He's showing it for what it is, and getting a wee bit snarky:

The People's Cube: "Hell yeah, shut Gitmo and ship'em to my neighborhood!"

The dangerous ramifications of this move are all too obvious; we're not even going to discuss them here. Instead, we'd like to lend a hand to Michigan Coalition to Stop GITMO North with our graphics, which also work as topical signs at the Tea Parties. They can be signs, posters, T-shirts, and even billboards, since we made them in vector format that can be stretched to a larger size without any loss of image quality.

The Women of the Iranian Vanguard

After Veterans and Remembrance Day it is once again opportune we turn our attention to tyranny elsewhere - Iran.

Although the danger exists the protestors of the Green Revolt are merely exchanging an Islamofascist collective for one of a different brand, that is a chance we'll have to take right now. They have been pushed under the Obama bus, victims of a deeply erratic foreign policy. Can someone please get the Obama from underneath that thick layer of egg?

We need to keep up exposing the crimes of the regime. Dutch-Iranian refugee, pundit and Leiden University lecturer Afshin Ellian, has another important post up on Elsevier. Here follows a free translation.

Fundamentalist Muslims Hate Women

The entire regime is in question. There are many dead and wounded; hundreds of protestors have been arrested. Primarily women.

Protestors have also addressed American foreign policy. Not against the country, but the President: "Obama, Obama, are you with us or with them?"

[Grim video material of street clashes moved to file.]

While Obama has already written two dear-Iranian-leader letters, the people themselves have called on him to support them instead. American foreign policy is called into question.

The world has noticed the role of women in the revolt against the Islamists. Also last week women took the lead. Oxfort University has instituted a philosophy scholarship in the name of Neda.

The Revolutionary Guard (RG) is prepared to crack down hard. A boy in Isfahan was shot to death as he prepared to enter his home.

Also the Basij militia is unleashed on the people. These Iranian brownshirts are being recruited from outposts and jails. They are often common criminals. Various sources have told me that on November 4th every Basij pocketed 400 dollars for services rendered ... the killing of citizens.

I heard they were particularly tough on women. One of the leaders of the opposition, Karoubi, has confirmed this. Pictures are shocking. In this footage a woman is attacked by a RG member called Mohammad Jawad Ebrahimi. The man who shot the film is employed by the security services. The pictures of course were shot to prosecute the women, not the guardsman.

Elsewhere in a parking garage a wounded woman is being treated. Why do these Muslim fundamentalists hate women so much? And why were they ordered to target them?Well, women are in de vanguard of the battle for liberty and democracy.

This film shows an almost unislamic scene. "Death to Khamenei" is painted on the wall. A woman directs a crowd in chant: "He (the leader) who claims to be just, is a liar and a murderer."

This is why they hate women. They are the leaders of this Green Revolt. There's no stopping them.

"In Flanders Fields", a poem by Capt. John D. McCrae

The story of the poppy
During the Napoleonic wars, it was observed that the fields were bright with colorful red poppies before a battle. Strangely enough, it was discovered that the bombardment of these fields helped the poppy to grow! John McCrae's poem became popular in 1915 and by 1918, Moina Michael began to weave poppies in remembrance of those who had died in WWI while working at the YMCA canteen. Madame Guerin learned of this in 1920 when she visited New York from France. On her return home, she began making poppies to earn money for the children of veterans and the worn torn Europe. The USA tends to wear poppies on Memorial Day while other countries (e.g., Canada, etc.) wear them in November.

The Truth about the Political Spectrum: Use or Lose!

... or in the words of the incomparable AlfonZo Rachel: "Breast Intentions: Don't Fall for Nanny-Staters' Booby Trap" ...

Much of the tranzie world is pursuing democratic principles as the highest value. It is a mistake. Democracy is not an end in itself, but the by-product of the rule of law based on individual rights. This is why the state of democracy in tyrannies is a travesty, only serving the purpose of lending legitimacy to the tyrants.

Playing Dice With Liberty (I): Questions to Our Leaders

A post under the title "Financial Journalists in Crisis: Did We Fail?" has been up on the main page for the better part of this week. It shows a video produced by the European new media service, EUX.TV.

It announces the upcoming convention "Covering The Crisis"  of the European Journalists Centre (EJC) to be held on November 9 and 10 in Brussels.  The aim appears to be a rare bout of professional introspection.

The matter struck me, because the press in general on almost every issue earned themselves a huge #fail tag for non-achievement over the last couple of years. But those members of the press corps, reporting on financial and economic issues are probably the least guilty of professional sell out. Nevertheless, it is them doing the self critique. Remarkable!.

Around the 1.50 mark the video shows an unspecified pundit stating:

"We've heard from every Head of State and Government Minister that we would reform Capitalism. This [speech] came from the persons who were responsible for this mess we're in."
The question who or what actually triggered the opportune crisis may never be answered and it is perhaps immaterial, given that the subprime mortgage situation was a bubble waiting to explode in our faces. But that's just one of the questions hardly ever posed, let alone answered.

Of course, as the journalist in the video states, we've all heard our respective Heads of State's and Government Ministers' comments, particularly in the run up to the last G20 summit in Pittsburgh, but perhaps we never took their assertions all that literally (unless you are a Socialist, in which case it must have sounded like collectivism come true!).

Nevertheless, the 800 pound gorilla this commentator set loose into the room cannot be whiped under the carpet.

Our leaders' comments to bring down - or "reform" - the capitalist system invite a very serious charge of treason against them. Of course most people are too 'ideologically evolved' to see the problem here, but it is nevertheless very fundamental (not to say, existential).

An exaggeration then? (Treason, indeed!) But here's the thing ...

Without going too deep into the field of epistemology, this is how the human mind works: concepts are formed from percepts, and concepts are expressed in words. Words are not rough approximations! A word has a very specific meaning. Language is not just a means of communication, it is also a convention which allows us to perform complex procedures, from neuro surgery to rocket science.

Technically, the expression of a concept into words is not the same as a definition, but the term will do for the moment to re-acquaint ourselves with absolutes. We need to get back using language with the respect it deserves! Find out the meaning of a word, before using it!

Reverting to cognition, this process is done by an individual. The individual is therefore the basic universal unit. It is the result of that natural process, derived from a higher power which we may call God, or Nature, if you are an atheist.

This is nothing less than the foundation of Western civilization: the all important primary, individual rights  derived from Nature, or bestowed upon us by God, who made us equal (it is no coincidence that it is individualism and reason that are most under assault!). This brings us to secondary rights.

On the political level primary rights lead to the rule of law and limited government in the service of individual voters whom they represent.

Individual property rights, and rights to the fruits of one's labor form the economic basis of what Carl Marx pejoratively termed, Capitalism.

To deny this system like collectivists and statists of various hue do, or to criticize it to the point of wanting to "reform" it, as our own leaders take the liberty to do, is not without consequences for our rights and how we organize the world.

A clarification would be in order before we embark any further upon this subtle shift from individual liberty to submission to the whole. What would this "reform" entail and from who or what do you derive the authority to do so? Furthermore:

- Do you still recognize individual rights? Or are you advocating collectivism under your leadership: special prerogatives and privileges for certain groups of people based on gender, race, religion or cultural identity, bestowed upon them by the Government?

- Are you still the servants of the people? Or are you a member of an oligarchy who know better what's good for us; and do we owe you gratitude for all the positive rights that you in your goodness, will bestow upon us through the Government?

- Do you still respect our economic rights to property, and mutually beneficial interaction and trade? Or will we keep a current account with the Tax Department through which you will determine the value of our labor and services under considerations of "social justice"?

To be continued.

On Cultural Resistance, Child Abuse and Divided We Conquer

There's a new post up over on the cultural blog, The Lighthouse.

It deals with newly discovered cases of Youth-for-Obama child abuse, racism and how the Left divides societies, as a means to better rule.

Breitbart's The B-Cast discuss ABC's premiere of "V", the highest-rated 8 p.m. drama series debut since "Lost". It was seen by 14.3 million viewers and had a 5.2 rating among adults 18-49. And let's not get all politically correct now! This is not subliminally tapping into your subconscious: of course "V" really is "O".

Financial Journalists in Crisis: Did We Fail?

Have a listen at this, because you won't get that all too often.

Financial journalists asking themselves, did we fail?

Sit tight around the 1.50 mark when one of them drops an interesting remark. Let us know what you think.

We shall be monitoring this convention on 9 and 10 November in Brussels for you.

Grima Wormtongue Commemorates Theo van Gogh (Updated)

Today marks the fifth anniversary of the beastly assassination of Theo van Gogh.

Last night during a party convention Dutch PM Jan Peter Balkenende lamented - what is unbeknownst to him - the use of postmodern rhetoric in politics (it's also known as pomo lingo). The basic tenets are: facts are irrelevant, the truth is whatever you want it to be, and since everything is in the service of expediency, no bars where ad hominems and expletives are concerned.

Two years before Van Gogh wannabe politician Pim Fortuyn was murdered, in what was the first political murder since the founding of the country. Fortuyn was shot by a postmodern econut who claimed to act on behalf of an endangered minority, the Muslim collective. Van Gogh was slaughtered by a Muslim radical, acting on behalf of the same 'endangered' ideology.

Both murders set the country into turmoil. Both murders were preceded by the Left-Islamic ideological complex relentlessly demonizing the victims. A familiar pattern is emerging.

Van Gogh set out as a Leftist, but sprouted brain cells and moved over to the Right. We know since yesterday that Fortuyn had asked Van Gogh to become his Minister of Culture. One of Theo's first acts would have been the abolition of government subsidized film productions.

Fortuyn set out as a Socialist as well, but soon abandoned Leftism and developed his own specific brand of politics in the tradition of American grassroots liberalism. John F. Kennedy was his hero. In practice his politics were much more statist and socially liberal than would ever have been acceptable in pre Barack Hussein Obama's America. But that is still a whole lot less than is currently the case in the Netherlands.

Both men liked to provoke middle class sensitivities and Leftist notions of political correctness, each in his own way: the more outrage, the better. Van Gogh considered himself some sort of a court jester (reason why he figured he was safe), and called Muslims goat f@ckrs at every opportunity.

Fortuyn was openly gay, wheeled around in a chauffeur driven limo, wore tailored suits and was accompanied at all times by his two effeminate pet dogs.

Consider that the Netherlands, for all its small l liberalism is first and foremost an egalitarian society in which everyone is expected to conform to the middle ground. Mediocrity is the norm. The two stood out like fly-fishers in the dessert.

More importantly, both were what the Left considers to be sell-outs. A greater sin one cannot commit. As commented on in part II of "The Cosmology of the Progressive Narrative" , conservative and Republican African Americans know allll about it. Stray too far off the porch or the plantation and the entire progressive collective comes down on you like a ton of bricks.

In the US in recent history we have seen how this "aims justifies the means" mentality set itself against the opposition: they morphed from opposition, to opponent, to enemy. It's a matter of incremental re-framing which we know as the soft power of political correctness: from a violation against accepted civility (you lie!), to socially reprehensible, to illegitimate and immoral.

Another time honored Marxist method are smears of fascism, extreme right and racism. It has reached such heights that it's a wonder people haven't stopped caring about it. The recent slurs are so ludicrously remote from reality that it has become a farce. Recently spoof has surfaced picturing White House spokesman Robert Gibbs as Washington Willy, a variation on Baghdad Bob, a measure of self-made narrative taking the place of reality.

In the Netherlands meanwhile the liberal Left, the Postmodern Left and the progressive middle ground have begun their assault on liberty in earnest. Singled out and targeted is Geert Wilders. Politics is war, the aim justifies the means, no bars allowed to stand in the way of Wilders' destruction.

The more vitriolic inveighers have gone as far as to call Fortuyn and Wilders "inferior human beings". The fascist epithet never quite stuck to Van Gogh. But the entire repertoire of classical Marxist scheming is set loose on the nation.

Yesterday the in-house Leftist newspaper De Volkskrant opened with an article about a leaked, state sponsored, 'scientific' investigation into Geert Wilders and the Freedom Party. The method is positively fascist and shockingly dishonest, precisely because it is done under the cover of 'science'. A freeish translation is available here.

The basic, potentially 'explosive' findings are that Geert Wilders' Freedom Party is "extreme Rightist", "mobilizes fear, Islamophobia (how scientific!) and hatred of the system", "creates a threat", and "undermines democracy and social cohesion". In short: Wilders is an enemy of the state, a danger to security.

Unfortunately, in the recent polls the party of evil still manages to amass some 27 seats in Parliament. It somehow never enters their heads they're slurring all these potential voters in the process.

- Caption: Theo van Gogh Monument "The Shout", by Amsterdam artist Jeroen Henneman -

Who are these 'scientists' who are constructing a perception of Wilders as an extreme Right wing "populist" as the enemy within? Possibly all come from the Postmodern school which states that science is but a Western narrative and proves nothing objectively true (which is actually true of their departments of linguistics, anthropology, sociology, etc., etc.).

That said, let's see - no Wikis, no national peer reviews, no international peer reviews, and that's just for starters. Only one of the triad, Prof. Dr. Bob de Graaff of Leiden University can be considered a serious investigator, albeit with a far Leftist slant (more details at the bottom of the translation).

Had these investigators not been professionals a possible conclusion might have been a case of psychological projection. But these are experienced ideologues who know how to spin a narrative. The enemy must be destroyed at all cost!

Unfortunately many of our leaders are criminally naive. The Dutch MP doesn't recognize pomo lingo for what it is, and has no inkling he's being played like a violin by political ideologues masquerading as scientists. Another saw no problem in voting our way into sharia law, while yet a third specimen proposed to solve the self-induced problems of multiculturalism by simply "adding a hyphen"!

It sends chills up and down your spine to realize what has become of the free world. We've lost our way, and are well on our way of losing our liberty as well. But our leaders are manipulated by Grima Wormtongue c.s. into investigating the redoubt for evidence of the enemy within, while the real one is already rattling the gates!

Elsevier Magazine: Minister of Integration one ups the scientists: "if Freedom Party grows very large, the rule of law is in jeopardy" (in Dutch)
Elsevier Editorial: "Five years after the murder of Theo it isn't Islamic terrorism that is endangering the security of the country, but Geert Wilders - at least, according to his opponents. The world is on its head: is Islam a symbol of democracy, rendering all critique a threat? Or is Islam Leftist, so that criticizing it is Rightist, or even extreme Rightist? One would almost think so. It is remarkable this debate is going on precisely five years after the murder."

"A number of politicians and pundits have security detail; standup comedians reluctantly admit they circumvent the subject out of fear (yes, bullying and terror works!), and exhibitions are called off because of threats from Muslim circles. Wilders vents his opinion but he's never threatened anyone. But he does endanger 'the system' in speaking up where others remain silent, which made him very popular with the voters."
Elsevier/Afshin Ellian Blog presents the short history of the term 'goat f@ckr'. Around the year 1900 Dutch soldiers used the term to indicate Asian British colonials. It again occurs in Dutch literature in 1988. Van Gogh used it at first in a column in 1995 entitled "Hurrah for Islam" about Salman Rushdie. After Van Gogh's death in 2004 no one ever dared use it again.
