Obama Vs Roark: You Didn't Build That!

Left: Howard Roark's Speech in The Fountainhead (vid)
Right: Barack Obama: "You didn't build that"
In Egalitarianism, equality is the fundamental moral value: the standard of good and evil. Equality rejects equality at birth. Equality before the law isn't good enough. Equality of opportunity is insufficient. The value of equality transcends Christian and Marxist ethics; Egalitarianism wants much more: equality of outcome - HERE and NOW!

But here's the catch. Men are not equally deserving for what they are, but because they are essentially nothing. Obama's now infamous quote "You didn't build that!" perfectly sketches this implied tenet of Egalitarianism.

If you have a brain, a will, some skills, knowledge, character, desires, money, power, any ability or attribute, you were lucky, that's all. The actual producer is the state in the name of the collective.

And since the bottom is by definition made up of losers, equality can only be reached by cutting down the top. Egalitarians hold that for everone to end up with a fair share of zero, those leading the race should have their legs broken: "We must cut down the high flyers," animal rights wingnut, Peter Singer has stated.

Egalitarianism is sheer evil: strip man of all the attributes that make him an individual and the achievements that distinguish him from any other, and all men become equal. But what is left is an empty shell, in essence a zombie: the ghost of a human being.

The root of the ideology is Kantian Nihilism. The elevation of nothing to something. The zombie demands the sacrifice of the living man. The walking dead as moral man is the philosophy that rules the pOmo world!

Since there is so much unfairness, egalitarians dispense with a rational system and priorities. They compensate with swiftness and affirmative action wherever a case of perceived inequality presents itself. They are proud of their achievements, but in fact it is racist and evil.

Since egalitarians are ardent collectivists the first duty of government is overall redistribution and compensation. The moral standard is not man's life, happiness or the pursuit of it, but fairness, the elimination of nature's random inequalities.

The vehicle for compensation and redistribution is identity politics. Women seek to address sexism, the elderly ageism, the handicapped ableism, the ugly looksism, multicults imperialism, animal rights lunies speciesism. Competition is evil. There are no winners, no losers: everyone gets a prize, whether deserving or not. All demands are meritous, regardless of merit.
Egalitarianism is so detached from reality (perception as well as conception), most adherents do not even bother validating it. Equality is simply a moral axiom, an end in itself, a floating abstraction. This load of crap is ruling our world; it is the mental suicide of civilization.
The evil of Egalitarianism has come home in Environmentalism. For some reason no one has been able to explain inanimate nature has the same status as man. Therefore it has equal rights and we must stop defining better as richer, bigger, faster, more.

Watermelons (reds in a green jacket) is a charming idea, but it's inaccurate. The flag of environmentalism is not red or green, but the black of death.

Evil consequences are irrelevant to this ideology: intent is everything, so the ethics are infallible, regardless of the outcome.
While Marxism still had a vision of a better world, Egalitarianism is a postmodern construct to rescue the Socialist notion of equality (see flow chart Evolution of Socialist Strategies To Rescue Socialism From Failure); but it does so by a strategy of scorched earth: in death all men are equal. Man is a moral monster that deserves no better.

This all puts abortion and 'the right to die' in a somewhat less humanitarian light.

Yes, We Cancun: 'modest' deal for $100,000,000,000

First, there's the utter hypocrasy of these socialist watermelons. Still, they know how to pull off a heist.

The 'modest' package of climate projects negotiated at the flesh pots of Cancun will make the biblical amount of 100 billion dollar change hands, payble till 2020 by the Western tax payer and receivable by the developing world.

How's that for global socialism?

This is justifiied by our 'climate debt', sustained since the Industrial Revolution, which gave us civilization as we know it.

Information Liberation has a great post by Lord Monckton, detailing how we got here. Don't forget to read the bit about the illusive one worlder, Maurice 'Blofeld' Strong.

In "The Abdication of the West" Lord Monckton describes what we are doing on the national level, by virtually committing suicide in adopting the corrupt philosophy of relativism and the vile process of political correctness, is happening here on the transnational level.

Is Anti Cap 'n Trade Funded by European Big Oil?

Whereas the capital poring into Democrat based front groups by George Soros and other Leftist maecenases don't seem to matter, Obama and the Dems have no problem scandalizing and demonizing Republican donors.

Western Journalism writes: "The Clinton White House, with Vice President Al Gore as the point person, sought illegal campaign contributions from individuals with ties to the communist Chinese and other Asian countries. Those investigations led to criminal charges and several Democrat fundraisers spending time behind bars for their illegal activities."

Leftists never fail to talk about such 'discoveries' in terms of cloak and dagger stories, as if they've uncovered a sinister plot, a conspiracy worthy of The Black Hand!

Such a conspiracy theorist told a Dutch radio program last night that he's 'discovered' that an evil cabal made up of European Big Oil, Big Chemistry and Big Energy has pored Big Money into US Senatorial races with the view of stalling environmental legislation. A major sin!

According to Mr De Wit, manager at a heavily taxpayer subsidized environmentalist organization called Natuur en Milieu (Nature and Environment), notwithstanding claims of 'sustainability' and 'corporate responsibility', European companies, to wit BP, E.ON, Electrabel, BASF, Solvay and Arcelor Mittel have been stuffing some 240,000 dollar into US Senate races.

The plot is all the more demonic, because the cabal is not just lining the pockets of Extreme Republicans and Extremist Tea Partiers, but also of 'a few Democratic moderates'. It's positively diabolical!

The logic behind the funding is, that if Cap 'n Trade can be delayed in the US, European environmental legislation  may be stalled, because Big America isn't on board.

Just so that you know!

Where Have All the Radicals Gone?

A Dutch paper recently posted an article, investigating the whereabouts of anti globalist radicals. They seem to be missing. One wouldn't have thought it since the violence at the September G20 meeting in Boston and the Leftist media having the gall to compare it to the Tea Party.

The Left is fuming and frothing at the mouth that their convenient crisis is passing by without anarcho-communism, or at least world socialism having been declared at the UN. Left, right and center countries are voting in rightist governments and the Left has failed to associate the opponents with the economic downturn.

In The Netherlands the Senate last week adopted a revolutionary Bill which actually reaffirms the right to property. Traditionally the non existent "right to housing" was deemed more important than basic property rights. And so an entire industry has sprung up to avert squatting. Buildings that were taken over became strongholds of the counter capitalist movement and could only be liberated by laying them under siege.

Since the banking crisis broke in 2008 the movement has tried to call a convention on at least two occasions. They invited all the usual suspects, but returns were meager, to say the least. Of willingness to take action there was none. One is not to count the World Social Forum of the new Leftist mainstay, Brazil which in 2009 in Belem, was attended by some 113.000 radicals for social justice. A spokesperson for the squatter group has the following interesting analysis of the situation.

The resistance has become "happy", practical, and not as much Leftist as "green" and "sustainable". Since in his view that encompasses "just about everybody" radicalism has become mainstream. "Look at the NGOs", he says pointing to Fair Food and Globalicious. They think the Left vs Right dichotomy is outdated.  They have no problem working within the capitalist system.

The intelligence agency confirms the only ones radicalizing at this point are animal rights activists, the "delete-the-borders" brigades and the weapons-are-evil crowd. Neither has radicalism moved to the Internet. Students have started ... studying. The shrinking welfare state compels them to concentrate on their careers. Anarchist bookshops have largely disappeared.

A German squatter agrees: there are a few small networks, and there's Indymedia, but most have been absorbed by the system. Radical activists are more visible in France and Germany, and radicalism certainly isn't dead. It has been written off before after the fall of communism in 1989, but it bounced back ten years ago. He's hoping the anti squatting Bill will trigger a response shaking them out of hibernation.

Which is bearing out my hypothesis to the contrary. Radicals haven't become less Left or less radical at all. They've become part of the mainstream where they're infecting entire swathes of society with memes of greenism, sustainability and socially responsible entrepreneurship. Radicals haven't disappeared! They're simply everywhere!

Climate Industry: Climategate Hasn't Impacted Belief in Climate Change

BusinessGreen recently claimed that on both sides of the Atlantic 'belief' in climate change has been less dented by the Climategate scandal as first thought.

The choice of words is telling in and of itself. Apparently climate change is now purely a matter of faith.

You can read all about it in businessGreen.

In the meantime, we're doing an unscientific survey of our own to see if we can match the astonishing figures claimed by the climate industry, still comfortably in the double digits.

Of course it's hard to catch up with government propaganda and a media that are solidly aboard the climate change paradigm.

How gullible are you? Are you still in the grip of the watermelons?

Climategate: Meet the New Hockey Team ...

... instated by the University of East Anglia to probe the decisions and behavior of the old hockey team, led by Professor Phil Jones. Bishop Hill has the broad headings, the scope of the Russell investigation.

What a bummer! Just a few days ago we were happy to post with some optimism that "an independent enquiry into the 'Climategate' leaked email scandal at the University of East Anglia has been announced. Sir Muir Russell had been appointed to investigate allegations that leading academics manipulated data on global warming.

A separate police investigation is ongoing into whether the emails were leaked or hacked
." Well, we already know it was leaked. It must have been an inside job by a whistle blower.

Sir Muir Russell is Chairman of the Judicial Appointments Board for Scotland and former principal and vice-chancellor of the University of Glasgow. The other members of the panel of enquiry are Geoffrey Boulton, General Secretary of the Royal Society of Edinburgh (Professor of Geology), Dr Philip Campbell, Editor-in-Chief for Nature journal, Professor Peter Clarke of the University of Edinburgh (a particle physicist by background; he heads the e-Science Centre at Edinburgh), David Eyton, Head of Research and Technology at BP, Professor Jim Norton, Vice President for the Chartered Institute for IT.

Sky News: "Probe Into Leaked Email Scandal"
Climate change sceptics claim some emails suggest scientists were colluding in an attempt to bolster the theory that global warming is caused by humans. (...) "There aren't league tables about how good scientists are. We're expecting them to police themselves," he said.  "So if there's any evidence that they're conspiring against their critics, conspiring to shut down debate about what they're doing, conspiring not to comply with Freedom of Information requests - I think that's pretty bad news."
The review by Sir Russell, who has no previous links with the climate science community or with the University of East Anglia, will examine whether there has been any manipulation or suppression of data "at odds with acceptable scientific practice". He will also look at the way the unit deals with all aspects of its research processes and the policy for Freedom of Information requests.
Many climate experts fear the scandal risks undermining decades of sound research on global warming. "It's a great shame that people have concentrated on the Climategate element of this, which is where the odd thing has gone wrong," professor David Collins told Sky News. "That is detracting from the underlying truth of the matter, which is that the physics behind climate change are pretty robust." The inquiry is due to finish by the Spring. >>>
But just hours after the announcement it turned out, the first member of the 'independent' panel was forced to resign. He might have a preconception or two as Editor-in-Chief of Nature, one of the IPCC's 'scientific' sources.

At Bishop Hill they've discovered another panel member with various problems involving bias. Read about Geoffrey Boulton here en here.

Reason Magazine in addition has raised objections to BP's Head of Research and Technology, David Eyton. BP has been 'sustainable' and 'socially responsible' for years - an early member of the climate-corporate complex. Also BP has been funding climate research at major universities - not because they're agnostic towards the man-made glowball warming hypothesis, one would think.

Nigel Lawson's GWPF has issued this statement on the news of the Russell enquiry. No public hearings, no transcripts and closed doors. This enquiry has all the makings of a cover up. And doesn't the choice of appointees betray a shocking lack of understanding of what is in fact the nature of objectivity?

To be continued, methinks.

This Shabby Asshat is Al Gore's 'Hero of the Planet'

Who thinks this is grilling, doesn't know Andrew Neil! Here he is, pussy footing around the issue, treating Watson with velvet gloves. "Oh, please don't bully the b*strd!"

Turns out Al Gore's hero's a bit entrenched in his dogmatic settled science looking more like Baghdad Bob by the day.

What's more, 'climate change' is a tautology! It's called climate for a good reason: it changes. You might not think it amongst postmoderns, but words actually do have a meaning!

more about "This Shabby Asshat is Gore's "Hero of...", posted with vodpod

The Guardian is proposing to save the narrative of climate change by launching a new narrative! That Jones, Mann and the CRU have a bunker and a siege mentality, because they were viciously attacked by evil deniers, who are waging a war against them paid for by ruthless, dirty energy corporations.

This illustrates the mindset of the Left to a t: my goal it so ethical (saving the planet), that it justifies any unethical means. Yes, peer reviews should have been done and yes, information under the Freedom of Information Act should have been supplied (reframed as "a PR disaster"), but hey, their job's so critical that it's no wonder such niceties were dispensed with for the moment!

Help out The Guardian saving climate change! It's important, 'cause a lot of money and ideology is caught up in this scam ... Granted, Climategate should never have happened! But not to worry, you too can now become a peer (granted you would wish to do so), helping The Guardian reviewing the leaked CRU documents. That at least creates the perception of belated orthodoxy.

The Guardian: "'Climategate' was PR disaster that could bring healthy reform of peer review", by Fred Pierce

Peer-review was meant to be a safeguard against the publication of bad science but the balance is shifting towards open access. In a unique experiment, The Guardian has published online the full manuscript of its major investigation into the climate science emails stolen from the University of East Anglia, which revealed apparent attempts to cover up flawed data; moves to prevent access to climate data; and to keep research from climate sceptics out of the scientific literature.
As well as including new information about the emails, we will allow web users to annotate the manuscript to help us in our aim of creating the definitive account of the controversy. This is an attempt at a collaborative route to getting at the truth. (...) The annotations - and the real name of the commenter - will be added to the manuscript, initially in private. The most insightful comments will then be added to a public version of the manuscript. We hope the process will be a form of peer review. If you have a contribution to make, please email climate.emails@guardian.co.uk. The anonymous commenting facility under each article will also be switched on so that anyone can contribute to the debate. (...) >>>
In the Netherlands meanwhile the issue is starting to make waves. The right-wing liberal party VVD in opposition is demanding a clarification from the Prime Minister. It turns out the delegation for COP15 (Hopenhagen) consisted of 110 persons: 109 climate loyalists and 1 sceptic. Among the loyalists, members of Greenpeace and other environmental activists. And Shock! Since the arbiter of postmodern politics is consensus, these activists were allowed to contribute to the drafts of the political agreement (yes, we've seen these drafts drifting by at the time, since sanitized from cyberspace (belated New Year's resolution: improve screenshot awareness)).

Just in:
The Indian government has established its own body to monitor the effects of global warming because it “cannot rely” on the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the group headed by its own leading scientist Dr R.K Pachauri. >>>

#ClimateGate - BREAKING NEWS - of Knorr, Mao and the War on Reality

IBD just put up a post, announcing two more nails in the coffin of warm mongering.

The first is a study carried out by Wolfgang Knorr of Bristol's Earth Sciences Department. Unlike the climate charlatans of the Climate Research Unit (CRU) of the University of East Anglia Knorr followed the data where it may lead. He concluded that just 45% of anthropogenic CO2 remains in the earth's atmosphere. The remainder is absorbed by nature. Those figures have not changed since 1850!  IBD:

"Knorr arrived at the figures by relying solely on measurements and statistical data, including historical records extracted from Antarctic ice. He did not rely, as the CRU did, on badly written computer models with built-in fudge factors to direct the data to a foregone conclusion."
The study, published in Geophysical Research Letters doesn't deny that increasing amounts of CO2 have been generated as the world industrialized, but it also eradicated disease, produced agricultural abundance and improved man's standard of living. CO2 is an indispensable element for life on earth.

Climate believers hold that all man-made emissions are pollutants, the cause of climate change - the word in itself a tautology.

But there's more good news on the climate front. Anthony Watts of WattsUpWithThat.com is reporting that the carbon footprint as a result of deforestation in order to grow crops for climate saving biofuels, have been overestimated by a factor two.

It is borne out by another study carried out by a team led by Guido van der Werf of the VU University in Amsterdam, published in November in Nature Geoscience.

In the US, preempting Obama's unprecedented Cap 'n Trade Bill, the Environmental Protection Agency has declared CO2 a toxic substance. Reduced to its root Leftism is a war on reality. The EPA's indictment of natural gas reminds me of China during Mao's Great Leap Forward when the masses were also mobilized to unleash a campaign against the metaphysical. Target was the humble sparrow, considered a fiend to the success of the drive for agricultural collectivism. In that light it should perhaps come as no surprise that the Obama administration enjoys its share of Mao admirers.

#Climategate: 30 Years of Science by Consensus - Plotting the Timeline

This is great!
Hat Tip: "Watts Up With That"

Mohib Ebrahim has created professional timelines for exhibitions, so it must have seemed only natural to him to want to visually piece together the full timeline of ClimateGate, laying out the analysis, graphs, emails and history of the scandal as revealed by dozens of researchers over the past weeks, months and years.

The PDF chart is available in different sizes, each also with the 10 pages of cited references. The full chart is over 2 meters wide (94″x34″, or 2 A0 landscape pages) and best viewed on screen where you can zoom in and out, scroll vertically to see everything in a given time period or horizontally across time to see everything related to a particular theme. (...) >>>

Check it out! And then there's this:

Frank Hutchison on Renew America has written an excellent essay on postmodern science. Or science, not by objective truth (which they reject on principle), but by that arbiter of postmodern 'truth', consensus. He also touches on another area, subjected to the same treatment: the lamentable Emerging Church - the Truth of the Christian faith similarly reduced to lay consensus.

And irony of ironies, they've done it again. Fighting absolutism, authority and dogma with the fanaticism of the Witch Finder General, they've created the mother of all unshakable dogma, dissenters treated as heretics. Postmodern history is full such ironies. Invariably they create what they seek to destroy.

By now, most of my readers have heard of the scandal nicknamed "Climategate," involving the suppression of information that contradicts a supposed consensus of the science establishment about global warming. For ten or fifteen years, we have been told that when scientists have reached a consensus, all further debate should stop. (...) >>>

COP15: the Vortex of Global Socialism

GLOBAL WARMING / CLIMATE CHANGE IS A HOAXImage by genetew via Flickr
Yesterday at COP15 (that's eco lingo for the Copenhagen Climate Conclave) European leaders signed off on "7.2 bn Euros* over the next three years to a fund to help developing nations adapt to climate change. Announcing the deal, Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt said all 27 EU member nations would contribute." (...) >>>

* That's peanuts compared to what is actually being claimed! Estimates range between $100 and $350 bn a year.

To those who labor under the illusion that it's just "government money", just wait till next tax day. Or your energy bills.

Perceptive followers of the news may be aware of a small scandal in the margins of COP15, dubbed "Climategate". It is a confirmation of what many long suspected: that there's a mechanism at work called "confirmation bias", if not - that downright fraud is taking place. Where politics and science meet, corruption ensues.

Others hold that anthropogenic global warming (AGW) can never be proved. It is a given that we will just have to accept as dogma, on the off chance that it's actually true (what was that about a pseudo religion?). It is also true that the universe isn't static: apart from the eternal laws of physics, things are changing all of the time - the climate - meaning: the composite of prevailing weather conditions in a given region (which is why "saving the climate" is such a ridiculous claim) is not exempted.

On this off chance leaders are pledging away billions of tax payers' money in a time of economic crisis and hand it over to developing or stagnant countries in the world, under the radar and as an alternative money stream, now that development aid is no longer an unquestioned form of global welfare.

The BBC is reporting that the G77 bloc of developing nations and China has reacted furiously to the EU offer. Lumumba Stanislaus-Kaw Di-Aping, representing the G77 has accused them of acting like "climate sceptics" (apparently as a replacement term of 'fascist!' now that warmists have claimed that ad hominem as their badge of honor).

He said during a news conference that "they are essentially saying that the problem does not exist. Their pledge does not address financing in its totality. We want to know where the money is coming from. Is it overseas development aid or not?"

Yes, we would also like to know!
"Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt (...) acknowledged that the pledges were "a combination of new and old resources".

"Almost all of the money is likely to be simply a relabelling of existing aid commitments," said Anne-Catherine Claude, of ActionAid."

"Oxfam EU climate change adviser Tim Gore was also disappointed. "(...) this money is not even new - it's made up of a recycling of past promises, and payments that have already been made," he added."

Arend Jan Boekestijn is a Dutch scholar and a subsciber to Douglass North, Wallis & Weingast's theory "Violence and Social Orders". (His article "Losing the war (in Afghanistan) is not an option" was posted here yesterday.)

Boekestijn's book "De Prijs van een Slecht Geweten" (The Price of a Bad Conscience) (Aspekt) hit the bookstores in the Netherlands just yesterday. He's making the case that development aid in its present form is doing more harm than good. He's doing so on the basis of the following arguments:

1. The moral hazard: the UN sends peace missions, the developed world healthcare and eduction. What's there left to do for a national Government? Sustainability and aid addiction?

2. The cause of poverty is bad governance (autocracies, Socialist experiments, theocracies, etc.) .

3. There's no clear correlation between aid and economic development.

4. Good governance ought to be a condition for debt relief.

5. More aid doesn't lead to better economic growth. There's no lack of capital in Africa, but capital in Africa has a how productivity.

6. Aid harms democratization: why raise taxes when aid keeps poring in? No taxation, no representation. To which we may add: erroneously applied, democracy may actually legitimize tyrants, and pernicious collectivist regimes.

7. Aid leads to a hard local currency at the expense of exports.

8. Aid is supporting evil regimes and oppressors.

It's an interesting study and we'll be back on this issue shortly.

But while the Marxist poverty narrative is proved false, the combined forces of transnational progressivism and climatism are ensuring that a parallel stream of money keeps poring into the vortex of global Socialism.

ClimateGate: Looting on a Global Scale

An entire new, state-sponsored, taxpayer-funded industry is being rolled out: in the US in a crypto Socialist political-industrial complex called the Apollo Alliance. One arm branches off into Europe, called the Lisbon Council.

The vast extent of the deceipt is mindboggling! At the Copenhagen Summit, a group of African nations led by Ethiopia, shall be demanding $67 billion per year from Western developed nations as reparations for the “devastating effects of climate change on the African continent.”

But that's apparently overstating the case somewhat. Some in the environmentalist cabal have calculated that the "climate debt" industrialized nations incurred over the last 200 years is actually close to $100 billion a year. The US is responsible for 30% of that amount, the EU for 25%. Not so, say China and other developing countries: the target should be even higher, in the range of $350 billion.

Just in: pay $10 billion up front and you got yourself a COP15 deal!

Add to that, that the Secretary-General of OPEC has said in a recent interview with The Times that he would support Saudi claims for compensation for oil producing countries, as developed countries move away from "dirty oil" towards "clean" energy sources.

Already taxpayers and consumers are paying through the roof. There's even talk of fuel poverty! And that's just for starters. Given we are already in a very convenient economic and financial crisis, the consequences may be severe indeed. Let's all go down together in One World Socialism!

Since we are talking here of global issues (tranzie code word: interdependence) greater rolls are indicated for various UN honchos and other transnational bodies. This is statism on steroids, moving us further and further away from inherent human rights on which the philosophy of liberty is based, and closer and closer to bondage ... on a global scale.

I do not agree with Immanuel Kant on any given issue, save one: the Global Government may well become a tyranny beyond our wildest nightmares. As we now know some are willing to destroy their own professional base and yes, even the field of knowledge itself to facilitate its looting.

These are no ordinary crimes: it's financial, economic, political and intellectual. The latter is perhaps the worst of all. It must have untold consequences for the way man thinks about knowledge, reality and his view of the world in general.

Global Warming? World Socialism Is More Like It!

With ClimateGate spreading like an oilspill, the Comintern at the IPCC is increasingly coming over like Baghdad Bob, assuring us business is as usual while the besiegers can already be seen storming the gates.

While the entire world has been lied to and defrauded of their hard earned cash, the greatest victim here may well be the field of science. Regretably people do not see it as hard science being infiltrated and abused by a bunch of postmodern crackpot humanities academics; instead the method itself is being blamed, said to lead to lies instead of objective truth.

It will take a lot of time and effort to restore the scientific method to its former fame and glory. This is a measure of the destruction postmodern thinking is capable of. Just as Kant devised "Pure Reason" to corrupt non-contradictory (or proper) philosophy, his heirs just did the same for science. This always was a Counter-Enlightenment operation.

Their method of "True Science" turns the scientific method on its head: the outcome is dictated by ideology and the perception of science is used to make the facts fit the outcome. Rather like 'scientific' Marxism/Leninism ... remember that? Some things don't change, by nature.

While the persons who called the case for global warming "scientifically closed" were politicians rather than scientists, the very claim flings them firmly into the-dogma-and-eternal-truths department (what else is new with the pomo crackpots!).

Ever since Emmanuel Kant took up duplicitous sophistry - called by its Orwellian name "Pure Reason" - using false logic to lay the axe at the root of reason, we've seen this parlour trick used against the forces of Enlightenment, again and again. It is in fact a intricate equivocation wrapped in a dense layer of philosophical yada yada to cover up the intellectual shell game.

Kant's dialectic was followed by Hegel's, followed by Marx', followed by Nietzsche's and Heidegger's, followed by the Frankfurt School for cultural Marxism, followed by the contemporary postmodernists of the counter cultural revolution.

If Marx' version of the dialectic consisted in pitting social classes against each other in which an intellection elite took power in bloody revolutions - ostensibly on behalf of the underdog - today's postmodernists build on a foundation laid by the Frankfurt School, which sought to subvert the free world from within. It was successful beyond their wildest dreams.

Today it's no longer just two social classes with rival interests facing each other, but a global plethora of minorities based on race, gender, religion, culture, geographical origins and national identity, opposing the first world's power made up traditionally of "white, dead males" based on cold reason, egoistic individual rights and selfish, economical development - or so the narrative goes.

The ultimate theater in which this global dialectic is played out is the transnational progressivist heist called the first world's "climate debt" to the third world. It's rooted in a postmodern version of Kant's "Pure Reason", now dubbed "True Science".

The "logic" underlying that narrative is that the West has been industrially revolutionizing itself for some two hundred years, foisting on the world evil devizes it has not asked for: steam engines, ocean vessels, aeroplanes, space rockets, motorcars, refrigerators, washing machines and all those other nefarious consumer implements from hell.

Needless to say that - in analogy of Marx' dialectic - all this revolutionizing went over the backs of peoples located in remote areas on the other side of the globe.

The phenominal world of the dialectics is not just an equivocation, it's rather blunt, dumb and unsophisticated to boot: everything is a zero sum game. Hence the Western world is now handicapped with a "climate debt" to the tune of one hundred billion dollars. Fuzzy math by tranzie officials has calculated that the US percentage of the debt stands at 30%, while the EU's is limited to some 25% (China's by comparison stands at just 5%). Most undeveloped or underdeveloped countries are net receivers.

Quite conveniently the blessings of all these discoveries and inventions are ignored by the Luddites (a better term would be Rousseauians). The sophistry of the dialectic has once again turned reality on its head: development is evil, stagnation is good. And thanks to habit of Western member countries of depositing their worst Socialist political surplus at transnational institutions and world bodies, there's no one in NGO'ism or at the UN available to point out the fact.

COP15, a tranzie code word for the Treaty of Copenhagen, the successor to the Kyoto Protocol, is looming large in a few weeks time. Barack Obama is perceived to be holding the keys to the agreement, having been bribed ... eh, encouraged for the purpose with a preemptive Nobel Prize for eco justice.

This is why the hacking last week of the University of East Anglia Climate Research Unit, home institution of one of the world’s centers of research into anthropogenic global warming (AGW), comes as a gift from heaven, hopefully just in the nick of time to prevent the egalitarian nightmare of World Socialism from becoming reality. The event - "ClimateGate"- is already shaking the world of "denialists" to the core.

That the lamestream media has managed to ignore the story so far, is indicative of the measure of evasion they are capable of in this hottest hoax and everything else that doesn't fit their construed version of reality. Update: something's being spun right now! James Delingpole of the UK's Telegraph who scooped the story, has a round up (Delingpole's site).

Pajamas Media: "Global WarmingGate: What Does It Mean?", by Charlie Martin

Late on the night of of November 19, news broke on PJM and elsewhere that a large amount of data had been stolen from one of the major climate research institutions by an unknown hacker and made available on the Internet. (...) The hackers released about 172 megabytes of data, and we can be sure examining it closely will take some time. But after a few days, certain things are beginning to become clear.

The data appears to be largely, perhaps entirely, authentic. The emails are incendiary. The implications shake the scientific basis for AGW (anthropogenic (man-made) global warming), and the scientific reputations of some of AGW’s major proponents, to their roots. Let’s look at the files and emails first. (For a running list of the interesting emails, see Bishop Hill’s list.) (...) >>>

Updates will be posted on the "Greenism" file. Just this: Terence Corcoran brings up another problem: the unscientific, through and through politicized way in which the facts have been bent to fit the theory, may cause outcry in the same anti modernist camp that this spells the end of science. The irony will come full circle: after Kant destroyed rationality through his fallacy of Pure Reason, it will be the True Science of the climatists that will mark the end of the epoch of Enlightenment. Beware!!!

Red-Green Radicalism Sprouted Wings!

With nefarious bankers and the evil capitalistic system being blamed for the economic melt down without taking into consideration the corrupting influence of governmental legislation (Community Reinvestment Act) that compelled financial private sector players to trade in social security services, Left and Right statists and progressive NGOs are crawling out of the woodwork to pounce upon the crypto Neo Commie windfall that holds the world in its grip.

What have we got? The G7, G8, G20 ... whatever; the Obama Government in the US with its massive socialization operation; the UN and its never ending machinations to grab global governance, redistribute wealth on a world-wide scale while it foists existential carbon debt upon the West; the upcoming Treaty of Copenhagen that makes Kyoto look like the Bill of Rights by comparison. As if that was not enough, we are now haunted by the ghost of Christmas Past in the body of the Club of Rome.

This troglodyte from the prehistory of environmentalism is meeting this week in Amsterdam to see how they can exploit the fortunate constellation of circumstances to its fullest extent. This may well be their last chance for world Socialism! Lord Monckton has recently suggested that those who piled from the Berlin Wall, piled straight into the Green movement. This makes sense, also without Michael Gorbachev, former President of the Soviet Union, founder of the Green Cross International and co-founder of Earth Charter as the unsung hero of the convention.

The dialectic (economic version) was an early part of the Club's philosophy. After its founding in 1968 the historic annals report that: "In 1972 the campaigning of this growing group of like-minded individuals gained a new worldwide reputation with the first report to the Club of Rome: "The Limits to Growth", commissioned by the Club from a group of systems scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The Report explored a number of scenarios and stressed the choices open to society to reconcile sustainable progress within environmental constraints."

To the Left everything is a zero sum game! In the end their predictions were proven wildly off the mark, but lo and behold, type "wrong" and Club of Rome" into the Google search engine and the result is 3.640.000 hits, all assuring us that "they were right after all", "rehabilitated", or its tea-leaf reading deemed "with hindsight, spot on". These are the wonders of the Postmodern narrative: absolute truth does not exist, so reality is whatever you want it to be!

More curious news hit the transnationalist front this week: the launch in the Netherlands of a new group that self-identifies as a "development aid organization" meaning, "we are from the developed world and we are here to help". Only this lot thinks the Western Left as embodied in the world's NGOism, has been far too lenient with the world's dictators.

One is inclined to agree with them on this one, until the realization hits you that this group is potentially more radical and revolutionary than can possibly be beneficial. Perhaps they'll clarify their position further shortly, but from what is currently up on the website this may well portent a resurge of the radicalism we have seen in the past. There are harbingers that trend may indeed be the case.

The site is available in Dutch only. Given that their plans are blatantly out of line with the moral standard the Left holds for Western countries, until they've sorted that one, the participants for the moment decline to identify themselves. The About page of the New Involvement Foundation yields this information:
The NIF (New Involvement Foundation) is a new aid organization based in the Netherlands. It is founded by former aid workers who are fed up with the weak approach of Western governments, organizations and NGOs. After decades of programs and billions of dollars wasted the situation in which the world's inhabitants find themselves has hardly improved. After having worked for years for several development organizations the NIF founders were required to answer the question whether to accept the sitation, or to go for a more radical approach.

The NIF way is very simple and effective and consists in the elimination of government leaders and supporting the imposition of new governments. The ultimate form of intervention, you might say.
How shocking does that sound to you?

The "Brother Species" Just Hate Us

The story of the animal rights movement is the dialectic ... the biological version (9.0). Not wanting to distract you to the point of boredom, for an explanation please scroll down the dedicated page for the Introduction to the dossier.

While easily the most demonstrably ludicrous and irrational, the animal rights arm of Postmodernism is also perhaps the most dangerous in its nihilistic consequences. It goes directy to the species level.

This article by Dr Edwin Locke on the site of the Ayn Rand Institute explains the error well and concludes in no uncertain terms:

The granting of fictional rights to animals is not an innocent error. We do not have to speculate about the motive, because the animal "rights" advocates have revealed it quite openly. Again from PETA: "Mankind is the biggest blight on the face of the earth"; "I do not believe that a human being has a right to life"; "I would rather have medical experiments done on our children than on animals." These self-styled lovers of life do not love animals; rather, they hate men.

The animal "rights" terrorists are like the Unabomber and Oklahoma City bombers. They are not idealists seeking justice, but nihilists seeking destruction for the sake of destruction. They do not want to uplift mankind, to help him progress from the swamp to the stars. They want mankind's destruction; they want him not just to stay in the swamp but to disappear into its muck.
One area where the anti humanists are making great inroads is in the legal protection of species. As soon as the yellow striped gerbal is set loose on a plot of land and is accidentally spotted all construction work is halted, building activities stop and the local economy is put on hold. With some luck the legal process can be stretched to years on end.

Pim Fortuyn's political assassination which led to a crisis in the Netherlands was perpetrated by one of their ilk on behalf of Muslims which he also perceived to be endangered. Van der Graaff was regarded as a very successful litigator on behalf endangered species.

The lengths this practice can go to is recently demonstrated in California where the Federal Government has seen fit to cut off the water supply in protection of the delta smelt under the Endangered Species Act. It is creating a wasteland.

Tell me in which way this injustice is any different from Robert Mugabe's willfully laying waste to Africa's bread basket, Zimbabwe?

Californians are not standing for it any longer: California Ag Network.

Sean Hannity recently made an appearance in the dust bowl in support of the farmers and people of California. Here's some footage.

Had it really to do with the love of our fellow creatures, this might be caring to the point of suicide. Do our brother species, the Alsacian hamster and the delta smelt really hate us? Of course not. Animals have no free will and therefore lack our sense of morality, and a good job it is. Imagine the emotional wrecks lions might become out of remorse of having killed so many wonderfully agile antilopes over the course of their existence?

Animals deserve our love and respect. It's humans with morally reprehensible ideas that hate their brothers. (Now am I allowed to say their ideology shares roots with Nazism?)
